Lilly's world was spinning; her vision blurring as she unbuckled her seat belt, opened the car door and threw herself to the ground. She rolled onto her back an intense pain filling her entire body.
"This is Devyn Hawkshade" she heard a voice say, she wasn't sure where it was coming from but she heard it. "I require immediate medical assistance, I'm about halfway down" Pain shot through Lilly "street you cant miss me" Lilly tried to move but the pain was too intense"I'm fine but I have two injured, one with a gunshot wound the other forgot his seat belt" she heard boot falls rushing toward her, she turned her head to see a huge dark shape kneeling over her. She tried to focus but she couldn't"Shit!" she heard the voice say again "he hit you pretty good. Okay apply pressure here and don't stop" she heard the voice say as her hands were placed onto her left side. She screamed in pain and tried to struggle free but her hands were being held down "I don't give a shit how much it hurts, just keep your hands here" the shape moved out of her vision as her hands were released. She heard a muffled voice and strained to make out words
"Come on wake up!" She remembered Lachlan and her eyes shot open, what was it the voice had said, "the other forgot his seat belt" Lilly grabbed the mangled car door and slid up into a sitting position. She turned her head, every movement causing mountains of pain to fill her entire body. She turned her head, squinting against the summer sun; she saw two shapes, one quite clearly holding the other in its arms. She reached out toward the shapes but her mind slipped and she was plunged into darkness.
