Jewel's P.O.V
During School

"Hey Jewel, want to have a friendly basketball game during lunch recess?" Jasmine asked me.

I nodded, "Sure why not?"

"Three verses three," said Jasmine.

"Yup sounds good," I said.

《After Lunch Recess》

Krystal, Ara and I won against Jasmine, Natayla and MacKenzie. It was 10-10 until I shot a 3-pointer, just before the bell rang.

"That was fun," smiled Jasmine.

"We should do that again," said Ara.

"Yes! We should!" Natayla smiled.

"Okay class please sit down, recess is over," said Mrs Knight and everybody sat on their desk and stopped talking.

A few minutes passed and somebody knocked on the door. Mrs Knight opened the door and I saw Macxim.

"Can I borrow Jewel for an experiment?" Macxim asked Mrs Knight.

"Yeah sure," replied Mrs Knight. "Jewel!"

Then I stood up and went to Macxim, then we went to the band room.

"What did you need me for" I asked Macxim.

Macxim went to a piano and started playing. "Because I wanted to sing a song for you," smiled Macxim.

I blushed furiously and then Macxim started singing.

"There's a shop down the street, where they sell plastic rings for a quarter a piece I swear it. Yeah I know that it's cheap not like gold in your dreams but I hope that you'll still wear it."

"Yeah the ink may stain my skin and my jeans may all be ripped. I'm not perfect but I swear I'm perfect for you. There's no guarantee that this will be easy. It's not a miracle you need, believe me."

"Now I'm no angel, I'm just me. But I will love you endlessly. Wings aren't what you need, you need me."

《3 minutes later》

"So..," said Macxim. "Did you like it?"

I covered my mouth and tears started streaming down my face. "Macxim.."

Macxim saw me crying and quickly ran to me and hugged me tightly, "What's wrong?"

"I.. I'm just really surprised that you would do this kind of thing," I said.

Maxcim wiped my tears away and looked at me in the eye, "I love you, Jewel. Of course I would do these kind of things, because I want to make you smile."

"I-I love you too," I said to him.
