The Set up
The Faulkerson's (aka Alden and his dad) arrived at the Mendoza's home like they discussed. Maine's Yaya opened the door for them.
'Good evening po, their over there in the living room'
'Thank you'
They walked into the living room.
'Hi Mr. Mendoza nice to see you'
'Hello how have you been Mr. Faulkerson?'
BLAH...BLAH THE DAD'S TALK THEIR USUAL STUFF LOL AND FINALLY INTRODUCED THEM TOGETHER
Maine- 'Hello po my name is Nicomaine Del Capili Mendoza'
Alden- 'Hi my name is Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr. but you can call me Alden, Nice to meet you Ms. Mendoza'
Maine-'Nice to meet you as well Mr. Faulkerson'
The parents looked at each other thing 'Hopefully they remember something'
Alden POV
Our parents left Maine and I "Alone" to talk and get to know each other... And honestly I don't think Maine would be such a bad wife.
For some reason, when we make eye contact it's comfortable nothing awkward. And I got to admit she is one funny girl.
Maine POV
Why don't I feel nervous... Talking to Alden was like as if we were best friends for years... He's cute, very sweet and actually finds me funny.
NO ONES POV
The two talked for hours, and decided to meet each other again, thinking that this arrange marriage thing wouldn't be so bad.
