"Elizabeth! I just heard that you and Landon started dating, I didn't even know you guys were thinking about it." Said Megan.

"Oh love, it's been a possibility for a long time." I said.

"Wait! Really?" she said, surprised"

"It's a long story, but if you've got time.."

"YES YES TELL ME!" she exclaimed.

"Okay, darling. It all started in 7th grade really"

It was in English class, we were watching a movie, and Landon and I were passing notes and he asked me who I liked.

I said no one really, and asked him the same. He said that he liked me, and asked me if I would be his girlfriend.

Since I was still naive about these things, I said I needed time to think about it, and I asked my friends at the time. They said they didn't know. In the end, I told him no.

About two weeks later, he asked again. I said yes, this was at about 2:00 pm. That night I wrote him a note and told him that I couldn't date him in secret and I couldn't tell my parents, so I broke up with him, at 9:00 am the next day.

"WAIT WHAT, I'm really confused" Megan said.

"Just listen, it will make sense as I continue."

I was devastated, but I just really wasn't ready for a relationship, and I couldn't lie to my parents. Everybody was very surprised, because before the news got around that we were dating, we had broken up. I feel very childish, but I was happy that I didn't like to my family.

Nothing really happened for the rest of 7th grade, besides I knew he liked me. And, honestly I liked him back. But I believed I had ruined my one chance him him, and there was nothing I could do to get him back.

"OMG" she said sadly

"Yea, I was very sad, but Landon was heartbroken. I felt so bad. Although dude; it gets WAY better, lovely!! Okay, the bells gonna ring, I'll continue the story at lunch."

"Awww, ok. See you then." she said excitedly
