"Soooo I want to go in a little more detail for this one, it's my favorite." I said excitedly.

"YAY!" Megan said.

When he asked me out, I felt really awkward. So I just said "sure." But on the inside I was ecstatic.

This all happened at the end of the Winter Formal dance, so I had a chance to think about everything afterwards. All I knew for sure is that I wanted my parents to know.

"Mom, can we talk?" I said quietly.

"Of course, lovely. What's up?" She asked.

"Well Landon asked me to be his girlfriend today, I want to say yes. But I want to ask you and dad first."

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wait, I thought you already said yes??" Megan asked confused.
"I did, I just didn't want my parents to know that. I just really hoped that they would say I was allowed to date him."
"Oh okay, keep going!"
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She said that she had to talk to my dad about it first, about and hour later they called me out to the dining room.

"We decided that it's a little to early to date right now." My dad said.

At this point I was just thinking, "Ok, act cool. It's all good, they just don't have to know."

So I just said "It's okay, if he really likes me he'll wait awhile. Love you!"

"We have such a good daughter, honey! I'm so happy she didn't fight us." My mom said.

I felt so bad, I felt so guilty but I decided that I liked him enough to keep dating him.

"I don't know if it was the best choice but I am glad I decided what I did."

"Aww, so what happened?"

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had a pretty chill relationship, holding hands, putting his arm around my waist, kisses on the cheek. And we were happy.
So our 3 month anniversary rolled around, it also happened to be Valentine's day. Landon got me a bouquet of chocolate roses. :)), and a stuffed bear. He gave these to me in the morning.
"Your real present comes this afternoon." He winked.
So I waited and waited in anticipation, and finally the school day ended. I went to the band room to pick up my flute, and he was waiting for me. He took me into one of the practice rooms and gave me a card. I opened it then and read it:
"Lizzy,
I am so happy that we are together, I could not imagine a better girlfriend. I will never get over you. I love every single one of your flaws. I don't know what else to write besides. I love you.
Landon."
"Now I can only imagine I was beet red at this point." I giggled
"AHHH, KEEP GOING!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I looked up and smiled, and we hugged for what seemed like an eternity, but it was the best eternity I could imagine. We separated,  I was prepared to just say thank you. And finally say those 3 words back. But instead...

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"HE KISSED YOU DIDN'T YOU, HE DID I KNOW HE DID. AWW THAT'S AMAZING" Megan yelled.
"hahaha, let me continue."
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He leaned in for a kiss.  I didn't really know what was going on, I had never kissed anyone. Despite my doubts, I went in for the kiss also. The only way to explain it, even though it's pretty cliche, I felt like the world stopped, and everything around us disappeared.

After we separated we just stared into each others eyes, and it was amazing. Both of us were on Cloud 9.

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There's not much more to say about it." I stated.
"I hope my first kiss is that amazing, Liz!" She said hopefully.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I guess since we reached the top, the only way to go was down. We weren't talking as much, and we were arguing a lot. We both wanted to salvage our relationship, by this time eighth grade was ending.

So for about 3 weeks into summer, we stopped texting. And I guess we just both assumed our relationship had ended.

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That was the worst decision I have made. I should have fought for our realationship.  Although; he is so amazing he gave me another chance."
"You are very lucky, darling."
The next time I saw him was registration for freshman year..
