I needed to do this in his version. Just so you understand what the family is going through.
************************************************************************************************
My mind was on Josie. The family was broken after she left. Andrew and Clara never visit after Clara told Mom to take a hike. Lance left with Sarah to Boston. Dad never came home and Mom hides in her bedroom. I just wanted to move. Mostly I wanted to see Josie.
"Matt? Are you ever paying attention to me?"
I looked at Amy. She smiled weakly at
"I know. I miss her too."
I grinned at Amy. Amy leaned forward and kissed me. She rubbed my hand then pulled back. Her eyes widened. Amy pointed behind me. I turned. My eyes landed on where she pointed. A girl with blond hair and hazeal eyes as talking to the coffee shop employee. She was wearing blue jeans and a white snugg looking top. A small bump was showing. She took her water bottle and was walking away.
"Josie!" I yelled.
I raced after her. Amy followed us. Josie turned. Panic went across her face. She started walking away. I raced up to her and grabbed her arm. Josie whipped around.
"Matt," she breathed.
I hugged her tightly. Josie started to cry.
"Matty! I missed you so much," Josie cried.
I just hugged her. Amy caught up with us. Josie hugged her and smiled.
"How is everyone," Josie asked.
"Not so great," I replied.
Josie sighed. "Well. I can't do anything now."
Amy asked, "Why aren't you coming to school?"
"I can't go back," Josie answered. "Not since this got out. Everyone was laughing at me. Lindsey and Arron made my life a miserable hell and that was the first day. So now I take classes for teen moms."
I ran a hand through my hair. Amy sighed. Josie smiled.
"It's okay. We're invited to Clara's and Andrew's wedding still. Plus Fletcher is allowed to come and your niece will be there too."
"My niece," I asked.
Josie nodded. "Your niece."
I smiled.
"Hey!"
I shot up to see Flecther walking towards us. He placed a hand on Josie's stomach. He wrapped an arm around her.
"Matt. Amy." Flecther nodded. "It's ironic how you two are dating. Both of you slapped or punched me."
I gave a weak grin. "Sorry about that."
Fletcher smirked. "No your not."
I shrugged "That's true."
Amy smiled and wrapped her arm around my waist. I kissed her hair. Josie smiled at us.
"We show go."
Amy nodded. Fletcher eyed me then Amy. Josie whispered something in his ear. Fletcher shook his head.
"Not yet."
Josie nodded and replied. "Good-bye."
Fletcher turned her around and they walked away. Amy and I walked back to the cafe. We sat down and started to drink our coffees. My cell buzzed.
Jo the do
Matt. Fletcher didn't want me to do this but our house number is
123-456-7865
Call me. Jo
I showed Amy. She smiled at me. I closed my cell and grinned. Now we're a family again.
