Where it all begins

Turning the fenced house and walking straight, I saw white birds flying across the silent blue sky. No clouds in sight. Konoha has been peaceful for a while now.

My father sent me to the village for ingredients for dinner. As I'm walking back home I see Naruto-kun eating Ramen at ichiraku's. He's stuffing his face. It's cute. I giggle and am about to head over when I hear a bark.

"Hey! Hinata!" I see Kiba and Akamaru running to me.

"K-Kiba-kun, Akamaru, h-hi" I say and wave at them as they stop.

Akamaru has gotten big these past years. He seems almost like a bear.

"What's up Hinata? I thought today you were on house duty" Kiba questions with a confused face.

"I-I am, m-my father sent me t-to get supplies. I-I was just o-on my w-way back" I say.

Kiba looks behind me and smiles a suspicious smile.

"You were here spying on Naruto, weren't you?" He says still smiling.

My face goes red and I say "N-N-No I w-wasn't. I-I w-was j-just-"

"It's ok Hinata, I'll leave you to Naruto. Bye!" Kiba says interrupting me and Akamaru barks. Then they leave.

I just sigh and when I turn around Naruto-kun is gone.

I start making my way back and as a short cut I take a unsteady path where no one passes through. Being careful not to scratch my face or get my hair stuck on the branches sticking out of the trees.

I didn't pay much attention to the ground and that's when I felt myself trip. I'm falling and then I feel a arm go around my waist and catch me. At least I didn't fall to the ground.

When I look up at who was holding me midway from falling, I'm surprised to see the one and only Sasuke Uchiha. His face close to mine yet expressionless.

He lifts me back and I regain my balance. I look at him and wonder how he knew of this path. Then I say "T-Thank y-you a lot S-Sasuke-kun."

He looks at me and says, "I should've let you fall Hyuga" Then he turns to leave, hands in his pockets.

I wanted to scream at him so bad for being so rude. That Uchiha has been nothing but trouble to my Naruto.

I blush as I realize I said my Naruto.

I continue to walk to my house and when I get there I take in a deep breath. I take off my shoes then head in and into the kitchen. I see Hanabi outside through the window training with father.

So I begin to prepare tea for them, leaving the cooking to the maids.

Sasuke's POV-

I see a girl with long glorious blue hair and a purple outfit walking with some bags. It's Hinata. I can't help but admire her.

She stops looking at someone and then I see her friend Kiba and his dog running up to her. They say a few things and I see sweet Hinata blush. It's so adorable! But it's also probably because that idiot was mentioned.

What's so good about him? It pissed me off so walk into a path that leads to the woods. I'll get some training, maybe better control with the chili and sharingan.

I'm walking on a small path, mushrooms and insects everywhere. Mud in the ground. The trees bent over like they're staring at me.

I stop and lean on a tree to the side. Thinking.

What am I going to do with these feelings towards Hinata.

I remember when we were younger and in our academy days, the girls always cheering for me, saying they were "in love" with me. What a joke. Every single one of them would always stare and blush, except for one. Hinata Hyuga.

She was all for the idiot Naruto. But being completely oblivious to Hinata's feelings he hurt her. I had always seen the hurt in her pale face when Naruto would choose Sakura over her. Asking her on dates, walking her home, and when ever hinata and sakura were together, Naruto would invite Sakura to ramen and leave hinata out of it.

Sakura often punched naruto and acted flirty around me. I however found her completely annoying. I still remember that time when she told me about how bad educated Naruto was and laughed at him for having no parents. For being so careless because of it. And for being alone.

She has no idea how that feels like, she's so annoying. Hinata was always worried for everyone. Innocent Hinata, she was the one that interested me the most.

I heard someone walking and stepping on sticks. I didn't know anyone else knew about this path.

I turned to see Hinata begin to fall. Immediately I rushed to her side and wrapped an arm around her waist before she fell. I don't want her to hurt herself.

I caught her and after a couple of seconds she realized what had happened. She looked up at me with those innocent beautiful lavender eyes. Causing me to slightly blush but I kept my face emotionless, hope she didn't notice. Our faces were close.

I then pulled her back up and she looked up at me and started thanking me.

Saying "T-Thank y-you a lot S-Sasuke-kun."

At that moment my heart skipped a beat but I calmly said "I should've let you fall Hyuga." I can't lead her into thinking anything of it.

As much as I wanted to hug her I walked away and instead left to my house deciding to do kunai training in my backyard.
