The One (Sasuhina)

Katsumi's Redemption

I don't get why princess Katsumi was attacking me.

Standing on one leg and holding my left arm with my right hand, at least I was able to push the pain aside to do that, I had my byakugan completely focused on the three blurry figures surrounding me. Katsumi still smiling and her eyes still glowing white.

Panting I rushed towards one of the figures and use my gentle fist but it was no use, it quickly disappeared, either that or my byakugan was getting weaker because after a couple of seconds I then found it behind me. What's wrong with me?

"Ghhm!" I whimpered in pain as I was slashed on my back. It felt like it was from the back of my shoulder to the back of my waist.

I turned and once again attempted to use my gentle fist. I missed. I felt three slashes on my body, on my leg, arm, and forehead. I fell to the ground and saw Katsumi staring at me, showing no emotion. The sky, it was grey. Clouds quickly forming, I don't understand why if it was so sunny before.

The blurry figures still there, maybe they can dodge my attacks but let's see them dodge a sticky paper bomb. Throwing a kunai wrapped in a paper bomb, the kunai flew past one of the figures but the paper bomb came off and attached itself to one of them.

Dragging my body up and with me, I scurried far away from the figure with the paper bomb. BOOM!

I saw the figure ignite with fire, that's when I heard Katsumi scream in horror and pain. What's with her? Wait, could she feel it too? Her skin isn't getting burnt. Maybe she experiences it but it's not real. Perhaps like a genjutsu? She's like hidan from the akatsuki, isn't she.

It started pouring. Water fell from the sky. When it rains, my byakugan is stronger, I could see the figures because of the warm radiation coming from them. This is perfect.

I took a deep breathe, 'get over the pain Hinata, this is no child's play situation. Hurry and don't be a burden to the others' my mind told me. Breathing in and exhaling I stood up like nothing. Cousin Neji taught me how to forget about the pain. Focus on my goal. I ran to one of the now clear figures, it was entirely white and seems to take on the form of a person, well more like a specific princess.

Back flipping in mid air, quickly landing behind one of them, I yelled twin lion fist! and was surprised to have hit it. The other figure came behind me but I had jumped when it had tried to hit me. It ended up hitting the other figure. Poof, the figure disappeared and this time for good because Because I didn't sense it even with this rain. Good, 2 out, one more to go.

Back into fighting stance. One on one. Engaging in taijutsu I blocked it's attacks and it blocked mine. Better stop being so defensive and get into the offensive state. Air palm! It was sent flying to a tree and past it. I ran towards it, taking out my kunai I slit it throat. Poof! It disappeared.

Katsumi! Oh no, I forgot what I did to them, she felt it. My eyes widened when I saw her running to me holding her throat and tears threatening to fall. She threw shuriken at me but I dodged. She had removed her mask letting her hair fall loosely around her.

"Sasuke's mine! Not yours! I won't let you have him! That's why... you have to die! DIE! DIE! DIE!" She screamed, demanding I die. So this this is why she was doing all this. I had no idea. But, there's nothing going on between Sasuke and me.

"Stop, please! Princess! You don't understand. There is nothing between us!" I pleaded

"Liar! So this is what a Hyuga does when she's about to die. You beg! You lie! How dare you lie to your superior!" She said not believing a word I said.

Talking about a Hyuga like that is unacceptable. I don't care if she insults me, but insult my friends or clan, I can't forgive that.

"Katsumi, stop, now." I warned not looking at her. I jumped to a tree.
