Chapter 9

    I got out of my bed, and did my regular morning routine, then went to school.

    I frantically searched the hallway for Teodore.  I checked every class, the band room, even the girls bathroom.  He was nowhere to be found. 

    With my luck, if I asked anyone else to be an alibi, Naomi would've already bribed them. 

    How and I supposed to prove myself not guilty if I can't find Teodore?  He is my only hope.

   I walked around for a little while more, just before the bell would ring.  It was as if Teodore didn't want to be found. 

    I started losing hope, I checked outside just in case he was getting to school late.  Still he was nowhere to be found.

    What if Naomi bribed him not to come to school today.  That is something she would do.

    The day by passed quickly, and it was about time to meet with Mr. White.  I guess I'm just going to have to be suspended. 

   I headed to the office with my head down.  The receptionist pointed to his office.  I look up to see Teodore in the office.  

    "What's going on?" I said.

    "Miss. Crow I wanted to say that you are good to go.  Mr. Bane came in here and confessed," Teodore gave a slight smile.

    "Well I was technically the one that started the fight."

    "How so?"

     "I was in the bathroom and Naomi came in and started insulting me, and Teodore overheard.  I guess he didn't like what she said so, yeah."  

    "No, she didn't have to do anything with the fight!" Teodore yelled.

    "I was the cause of the fight, suspend me!"

    "No, me!" 

    "You know what, fine! You're both suspended have a nice day." Mr. White said.

    "Well, if you think about it, Naomi was the one who truely st-"  Mr. White cut Teodore off. 

    "If you are not off school grounds in the next half hour you will be expelled."

     "Got it." Teodore and I said simultaneously, and walked out. 

    "Why did you have to say that.  Now we are both in trouble." Teodore said.

     "Well maybe if you had come to me first we wouldn't be."

     "Are you blaming this on me!"

    "Kinda."

    "I didn't do anything but own up to my actions!"

    "Well if you had come to me neither of us would be in this mess!"

    "Why would me going to you make a difference!"

    "You would've been my alibi so I didn't have so be suspended, but it looks like we are too late for that!"

    "You're just now realizing that!"

    "Are you just now realizing how big of a d*ck you are!"

    "I've always been a d*ck!  I don't need someone else pointing that out!"

     "Good for you! Now you have someone else in your life that hates you!"

     "I don't care! I never liked you anyways!"

     "Oh, really! Then why did you start a fight with Naomi!"

    "Because she is a f*cking b*tch!"

    "Look  we found something that we agree on!"

    "FIGHT!  FIGHT!  FIGHT!  FIGHT!  FIGHT!" the crowd around us chanted.

    I looked around, all of them anticipating the fight.  I looked over at Teodore who was also looking quite embarrassed. 

     "I'm gonna go now." I said awkwardly.

    "Same here." 

    The crowd sighed, and Teodore and I left.
