Chapter 8

    Teodore and I haven't talked since the incident with Naomi.  I didn't really expect him to either.  Teodore seems like he would have better things to do than hang out with me.  I just really hoped he would stay, but how could I think that.  Nobody would want to even be near a loser like me.

    Recently I have been feeling like a piece of sh*t, and I don't think anyone actually noticed.  

    "Miss. Crow please come to the office."  the speakers muffled. 

    I didn't know what I had done, but assuming since it's friday, I won some kind of prize.  Only why would I win a prize?  I didn't do anything.  

    I went up to the office and the receptionist said to go to the principal.  Still confused, I obeyed.

    I walked into the room to see the principal and Naomi, who was crying.  "Hello Miss. Crow.  Please, take a seat."  Mr. White said.  "What happened in the hallway between you and Naomi?"

    Was this conversation really on the fight? "Sir, that was a while ago, aren't you a little late?" I asked.

    "See she's not denting it!"  Naomi shouted.

    "Naomi, let's not jump to conclusions."  He said then looked over at me, "I know I am a little late on this and my reasons will remain unknown."

    "He went on a cruise to the Bahamas." Naomi said with her annoying voice.

    "Yes that's true, but we are straying from our topic.  So, was there a fight?"

    "Yes."

    "Well then, Miss. Crow you will be suspended for 3 days."

    "What?  But, sir, I didn't do anything!"  I pleaded.

    "I'm sorry Miss. Crow.  If you don't want this punishment you will have to find some alibis."

    "But, I was at the fight.  The whole school was."

    "Then the whole school should be able to vouch for you, or you will find the culprit."

    "I know who started the fight! It was Te-"  I wanted to say Teodore, but do I really want another person to hate me? Unless he already does.  "I-I'm sure I will be able to find someone to help me.    

    "If you know how to help your side of the case right now, you best use that evidence."

    "No, I don't."

    "You have today and tomorrow to find an alibi."

    "Yes, sir."

    "But, Mr. White I swear to you it was Sawyer who did this!"  Naomi shouted.

    "We will see if that's true tomorrow."
