Jane POV
"So you and Harry met about 3 years ago?"
"Yes, we met on a hiking trail in North Carolina that summer."
"Harry says it was love at first sight for him, was it that way for you as well?"
"Uhm, well, I definitely found him to be interesting but he was spying on me so I was a little weirded out. When I realised who he was, which was a couple weeks after, I wanted nothing to do with him, actually."
"So not love at first sight?"
"Honestly, I don't know. I hadn't really known what love was until I met him. It wasn't something I was aware of until he told me he was in love with me."
"Ah so he was the first one to say it!"
I laughed, "Yes he was."
"And did you say you loved him back?"
"Not until 12 days after."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"There is a song you two had written called 12 Nights. At the end of the song it says, and I quote 'It took twelve nights to fall in love but one night to leave.' What exactly is that about?"
I felt my throat run dry. I took a deep breath and began to tell our story, beginning to end.
