Anubis's POV💀

I feel a light cool breeze brush past my face. As I start to open my eyes, I realize that I'm in the forest again. Only this time as I try to get up and get myself together, I notice that the leaves on the trees are red. As I look around wondering where to go, I can see the girl and her red scarf again. Like the weird dream before, she leaves into the forest. I quickly get up and try to catch up with her. As I continue to run, I notice that there's a lot of trees. Feels like this forest is going on forever. In the distance, I see the girl standing facing away from my direction. Once I finally caught up with her, I turn her around to face me and without making eye contact with me she says...

"You have to accept it Anubis," she says.

"Accept what" I reply with a concerned tone.

She doesn't answer. I look at her. Her eyes are weird. One is blue and one is green. Her hair is short and curly. I see the scarf I had seen on her on the ground. She seemed like she had been out here for a while. Her arms were covered with snow and small ice particles on the edge of the fingertips. She looked almost frozen. She lifted her arm up to point upwards. I try to look at wherever she pointed at. Her finger lines up to the moon in the sky. The moon looks different.  It's black with red surrounding it. Not exactly like an eclipse but the shadows covering the moon and the light touching the surface of the moon is red.  I looked back at her but she is gone. Gone from my arms. Everything is gone. No trees. No snow. No moon. Just empty space. I started to panic. I turn around and look back at the moon and a bat is in the sky, creating a silhouette on the ground. It starts to dive towards me. I start to run but something stopped me. Why can't I move?! Something came to me. She said to accept it. Is this what she meant? Is it something else? There isn't time to panic. It's too late. So I stand there and the bat getting closer. The bat eventually came close enough and bit me. I feel two sharp pains in my neck. I feel something break skin and feel the stream of blood running down my neck spreading onto my chest. My vision starts to get blurry. I got light-headed and I started to fall to the ground. I slowly look at the ground as I quickly approached it...

I  gasp and wake up catching my breath. I start to look around. I rub my head and I think to myself "man I really need a therapist". As I rub the crust from the eyes and look at my phone, the clock says 7:30. Shit; I overslept. I hurry and put on my favorite black hoodie, some blue jeans, and black boots. Grab my phone and hurry out of there. I drive and pull up at the school. As I pull up to the school, I see that lame-ass principal from yesterday. Great, now I gotta get around him. I get out of the car and lightly close the door so that it doesn't make a noise. I sneak past him while his back is turned and walk into school. I walked to the first hour and everyone is staring.

"Why are you late " the teacher asked.

"I overslept " I reply with my voice still raspy and deep.

I sit at my desk and pull out my notebook. I look around and I see her. Across the hall in another class, I see the girl from my dream. Black, curly hair, but her eyes are brown. I guess it's not her. Maybe I'm losing it. I really need a therapist.

Now it's 3:30. Finally, the end of the day. I walk out of school and I see something. Something in the sky. Something in front of the sun but it's too bright. Something in the sky. Its a...bat. I pay no mind to it, get in my car, and drive home. I get home. I walk towards the door and all of a sudden, the bat bit me on my neck. I smack it off my neck. I'm hyperventilating.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" I repeatedly exclaim to myself while trying to fit my keys into my door.

I run into the house and head straight into the bathroom. I look at the bite in the mirror. Its bleeding is so bad, it's dripping down my neck and into my clothes. Panicking, I reach into my phone and call 911.

"911 what's your emergency," the operator asks calmly.

"I got bit by a bat on my neck! Please send help, I'm bleeding a lot , and I think I'm dying" I shouted while trying to stop my neck from bleeding.

"Ok I hear you, sir, I just need your address and I'll send an ambulance as soon as possible"

I tell her my address and she says that they are sending an ambulance to my location and it should be here in 10 minutes. After I hang up the phone, I'm pacing back in forth, still attempting to stop the bleeding by holding paper towels to the wounds. It hurts so bad. After some time passes, I go outside and try and look for the ambulance. As soon as I  step outside, I see the ambulance down the street to the right of me. I attempt to wave it down but suddenly, I feel light-headed. My vision starts to get blurry. I lose balance with my legs and the last thing I felt before blacking out was the impact of my face on the ground.
