Anubis's POV 💀

Snowflakes land on my face. I wake up. I look around. It's snow everywhere. How long was I sleep? Where is this place? I notice that I wasn't cold. Am I dreaming? I walk in what seems to be a forest. I see a girl. The girl is wearing a red scarf and a long brown coat that comes to her knees and has brown snow boots to match the coat and fur at the top of it. "Hey, do you know where I am," I ask loudly while waving my arms trying to get her attention. She begins to walk into the forest but before she does, she looks back at me then disappears behind the trees of the forest. I try to follow her so I don't be alone, but I can't find her. Where'd she go? I walk deeper into the forest. I see her red scarf. I start running toward it.

I wake up In my bed. It was a dream. I look at the alarm clock and it says 7:15. Well, time for school. I throw on something random, the song "Can't Believe" by Staind on my phone, and drive to school. I look around the post-apocalyptic wasteland of a room of mine. I throw together the first thing I see. I throw on some dark blue jeans, a ripped shirt, my classic black zip-up hoodie, and black boots. I grab my keys and hop in my truck and head out. I start to go into thought as I pull up to the school. First day of school. The school is pretty big for a high school. I see a forest by the school. Weird, It looks like the forest in my dream. Whatever, one problem at a time. I walk into the school. The first thing I see is the principal. I knew this because he was wearing a shirt that had "Principal" on it in bold letters in all caps. How pretentious. He is tall, skinny, and has dark blue eyes. His hair was slick and combed back like Fonzie. He wore some basic blue jeans and some boots that were all black. His face was young but not like "in his twenties", young.

"Name and grade," he says.

"Anubis Quinton and 9th", I responded sighing.

"Anubis? That's a stupid name", he mumbles under his breath.

He hands me a slip and tells me to go to the class down the hall to the right. I walk into class and everyone stares at me and whispers. I handed the teacher my slip and sat down. I put on my hood and lean up against the wall while in my seat. While I'm sitting here looking at the wall, I think to myself, let's get this over with.
