(Chapter 2)(snowed in, and concert)

(BGs p.o.v)

Luckily I got to our room before Amber but she still questioned why I had come out of the young girls room. She had been getting off the elevator as I was coming out of Lindsey's room. So I got questioned, searched, and sniffed. I insisted I had just made a mistake by walking into the wrong room. That was finally excepted. But that was all last night, this morning I was laying in the bed, I wasn't in the mood to get up at all. Amber had woken me early and said she was going to go sit by the fire in the lobby.

I was putting my hair up. Finally peace and quiet. My adopted daughter was watching me fix my hair and decided that maybe she'd fix her hair too. She took the brush. She didn't have much hair on that two year old head of hers but she was gonna try and be like me. Her father was a good friend of mine. A singer, he was here for the concert to preform. His daughter liked being with me, she didn't have a mom so I was the closest she had ever had.
I picked Alabama up.
"Come on let's go find daddy." I say to her.

I carried her out towards the elevators. "Press the L button." I say. She nodded and pressed it. She clapped. I smiled at her. I wanted a child but not right now. So I thought maybe I could just borough a kid for a while. Her dad didn't mind at all that she stayed with me the whole time I was around.

It was snowing outside. Hm, I knew it, we'd be snowed in. Brantley was in the lobby strumming his guitar. Shooter was strumming his guitar as well. They were playing the same cords. The concert was tonight so, we all had to practice.

I was watching the others preform. I especially enjoyed Lindsey's performance. That girl was crazy flexible, damn the things I could do to a flexible woman like that. Dammit Amber Amber Amber. Your dating Amber your nearly engaged to her!!
Stop thinking of Lindsey.
But damn that girl.

The concert kept going. I had another hour to go. I thought maybe I could spend time with Lindsey. Make things less awkward for us since I had barged in on her last night, poor girl she was shaking like a leaf when I apologized to her. Her being so small compared to me I guess it was a bit terrifying for her.

She got off stage as everyone applauded her. I clapped too.
She walked over and sat down in a chair by the fire. I sat down in the chair beside her. "Hey, did you ever find your room or did you peek in on another girl in the shower?" She asked. I smirked. "No I found my room, I'm really sorry by the way, and my room happened to be right next to yours, I was just one room off." I say. She smiled. "Apologies excepted". She says. "Your a really good violinist". I say. "Thanks, I can't say the same for you I haven't heard you yet." She says laughing. There was silence between us for a few moments. "Where's your girl?" She asked noticing Amber was nowhere around. "She's exploring around the place, she'll be around for dinner, would ya wanna join us?" I asked her. "Oh I don't wanna be a third wheel." She says. "Trust me you won't be.""blue ridge cafe". "7 o'clock". I say smirking. "Well okay, I guess I'll meet you two at the blue ridge cafe at 7". She says smiling.
