Chapter 4: Boyfriend?, awkward meetings, and graduation dont mind if i do

On this Monday I woke up and got dressed. I thought about it everyone is flying in for my graduation. Dad, Angie, Colin, Justin, my grandma from my mom's side. I'm grateful to have such a great support system surrounding me. I drove and picked up Peyton and we grabbed breakfast and then headed to school. We were talking and Peyton said "Luke is waiting at your locker" I said "I wonder why?" she said "remember when Rachel and Hannah both said he is interested he probably is."

I walked up and opened my locker I asked "uh so why are you waiting?" he asked "can we talk?" I said "sure. About what though?" he said "since we were flirting at your party" oh god he thinks we were flirting. He continued "I think we should get back together" I said "I'm sorry I was just talking to you I wasn't flirting" he said "uh but I have feelings for you again" I said "and I'm not really ready for a relationship."

He said "the last time you were with someone it was me" I said "no that's the last time everyone knew I was in a relationship but I have been in a couple after you" he was silent I asked "this isn't going to ruin our friendship right?" he said "uh no of course not" it was awkward but Peyton and I continued walking to class.

On this Friday which is our graduation day I got woken up by my brother jumping on the bed he said "GET UP GET UP YOU'RE GRADUATING" I said "I know" and pretended to cry he said "oh whatever" I laughed and yelled "Get out my room" he ran away. I went and got ready for my last day of high school ever and it was a half day.

I finished getting dressed to find my grandma, dad, mom, Pattie, and Colin waiting downstairs in the living room. My grandma said "why don't you look gorgeous" I said "thanks grandma" Dad pretended to cry and said "my baby is growing up" I laughed and Colin said "that's where she gets it from" Mom said "Colin I thought we discussed this she gets his attitude and you got his looks."

I asked "Dad, I thought Angie was flying out?" Dad briefly looked at mom and said "she had to cancel" I said "um okay" Colin said "so how does it feel to be graduating?" I said "it kinda sucks" Colin asked "so did you decide what college yet" I said "yeah but I going to hold on going to college until the fall semester" he nodded.

Dad asked "so going to be a doctor like your mom right?" I smiled and said "someone had to Colin took after you and I decided to take after mom since you know I have her hair color and stuff" I laughed and mom said "you should get going if you're picking up Peyton" I said "yeah see you guys it like a couple of hours" I drove and picked up Peyton. I said "My dad said Angie canceled last minute but she looked forward to my graduation."

Peyton said "Maybe she wanted you guys to spend it as a family Just Colin, you, your mom, and dad" I said "maybe but she is part of the family since they got married" she said "yeah but maybe she wanted to have you guys spend it as the original family" I laughed. We got to school and everyone was waiting by the locker and Hannah asked "is your brother in?" I said "yeah" Rachel said "I better he got hotter" I laughed and said "that's disgusting you can't like my brother."

Hannah said "the whole junior and senior class likes him" I said "whatever" we went and practiced for the graduation ceremony it was kind of hard to believe it's our last day. After we got done Peyton and I drove to her house we walked in and Peyton's mom was sitting on the couch and said "hey girls. Are you excited for graduation?" I said "it's a love hate thing" Peyton asked "Mom, can I get ready at Ellie's?" she said "sure I was just going to watch some TV until your graduation" I said "you're welcome to come over and hang out with my mom and Pattie"
