I look down and notice that I'm holding Ig's hand. Ig? Can I call him that yet? No? Ok. Ignatius' hand. He notices too and blushes right down to his Adam's apple. "Aaaaand here we are Ig-" he shot me a dirty look "-natius".
"Where exactly is 'here'?" he replies. I open my mouth to answer but he cuts me off. "And why did you bring me?"
"Welcome to Byshore." I say. "You're here because, well, this might be hard to hear but, uhhhh...". "Well, go on then. Why am I here?"
"LETS GO ASK DIABLO" I bellow. Everyone in the square turns and stares at me. A few roll their eyes. M face feels like fire. "S-sorry everyone." I call out. everyone ignores me. Messsssing everything up on your first day back, eh? Thats sssso fast itssss almost record breaking! Congratsss, Dearie. Malum says. Malum's my Tenebris Bestia, the little voice inside my head. Her physical form is a Burmese python, but that only appears if my life line is fading, or my mental health is declining. Tenebri are sort of like if a doctor and a therapist combined. Gosh, Malum can be annoyingly sarcastic sometimes. Always on the worst fucking days. Like the motherfucking day I try to prove I'm actually worth something. It sucks to have to prove that. Most people are born with that privilege. Not me. Obviously. "EARTH TO VADA!" Ignatius whisper-shouts. "YOU STILL WITH US?". "Wha-Oh yeah!" I say, plastering a dumb grin on my face"
"You look really stupid, Vada."
"I'm the only one who can call me stupid, stupid!" I reply. He touches my shoulder and a wave of static passes through his fingertips. "Woah there Sparky!" I say sarcastically, snorting at the nickname.
"Don't call me that!" He says with his face flushed. I laugh. You know what darling? This might go as planed. You can't tell, but I'm sssmiling.
Long time, no update! New characters and a developing plot! YAY!
