The night was filled with booze and bad choices that no one would regret, most likely because they wouldn't remember what they had done. Hesitantly, I walked to my closet, not knowing what to wear. A dress? No, too formal. Skinny jeans and a tee-shirt? No, too lazy. Shorts and a tank top? Probably not. Crop top and shorts? Possibly. I looked through the closet pulling out a handful of clothes. After a long while, I decided on a cute crop top, shorts, expensive bit fake jewelry and a cover up. Most of the time, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing clothes like this, but it was a party that I was slightly excited for. The cover up would most likely be discarded at some point but I thought it looked better with it.

In the mirror I looked myself over once more before sprinting out the door of my house to ensure my father had no chance of seeing me dressed like that. I knew I didn't look high school party ready but I wasn't risking walking back into my house and having my father see me.

Walker's house was only a block away from my house. I walked to the house in the dark. I knew I came to the right house when rap music was clearly heard from the street.

The door was open, I walked it catching the smell of way to much cologne and alcohol. The house seemed to just be filled with teenagers creating awkward sexual tension or drinking more then I knew most of them could handle.

Alcohol always scared me because I saw what it could do to people and how quickly it changed a persons state of mind. Did that stop me from drinking a small amount with Marie that night? No, because I'm a dumbass who doesn't know how to follow her own mental rules.

Marie on the other hand, knew parties like the back of her hand and to party was her mental rule. She wasn't a person to slut it up at parties but she had no problem with being sassy, flirty, drunk, or baked as all hell.

"Marie, I've done four shots and I'm already not feeling like I did when I got here I think I've had enough. " I looked up from the empty shot glass to see the brunette flirting with a tall male. His face seemed familiar but I couldn't bring a name to my mind.

I walked away, not wanting or knowing how to break up the drunken chemistry between them. The halls were a tad bit emptier them the living room and kitchen. I smiled finally being able to take a breath of at least what smelt like clean air.

Feeling more confident, I walked back into the crowded room. My heart was racing and my mind was in a slight haze from the energy and alcohol running through my veins.

Trying to find Steven because less important to me the more I got caught up in party. I knew I was bound to make terrible choices and that's exactly what I did. As I began my walk to the kitchen to grab another drink, I found my self drunkenly flirting with a tall blonde. Too drunk to remember names, just call people babe.

I giggled as his hands snakes around the frame of my body and pulled me into the group of dancing people. My conscience was screaming for me to get out of the situation, but the music slowly drowned out that.

The blonde pulled me closer as we danced, his sapphire eyes catching mine with a smile. "First high school party you've been to, I'm guessing." I nodded yes with a smile and continued happily dancing. He smirked. "Well then I guess I have to make it one you'll remember. "

He once again led me to a new area of the house, a another empty hallway and was perfect for being alone and catching your breath. I found my back pressed against the wall and the tall blonde hovering over me. His hands found their way to my face, cupping it as he leaned in. His soft lips met mine with a strong sense of aggressive passion. I hesitated, not completely knowing what I was doing. His tongue danced across my bottom lip and I slightly opened my mouth then pulled away. This isn't ok. You don't like him. Its wrong.

"I, uhhh, gotta get going, my dad isn't going to be too happy knowing I snuck out of the house. " His smirk faded and he stepped back.

"What a tease." He spoke letting out a small chuckle. "It's fine Ellena. Ill just see you in first period tomorrow. " I smiled, no longer feeling like I was being an ass.

"Thanks." I hugged him and then ran off. The streets of night seemed colder as I walked home. Should of wore actual clothes dumbass. My phone buzzed but I ignored it, knowing their might still be a chance that I could get home before my father would notice I left.

I peaked my head in the door to see him asleep in the chair and I slowly crept up to my room, attempting to make it up to my room in silence. Once I made it up to my room I closed my door, making sure to lock it before flopping onto my bed.
