On July 26th 2013, 5 days after I turned 14, the man I called my father was carted off to jail for domestic child abuse. He swore that he would get out and he would come for me. We lived almost a year without needing to worry about him. A week from my 15th birthday we got a call from my lawyer, julia, I was never so scared in my life. " Klaire, you father is getting released early. Now, he does havs a restriction on you but, we all know that he wont let that stop him. I have already talked to your mom and the court about what we are going to do but I want to be there when you find out our plan, im on my way now so i'll see you in a few. " I was mortified. I sat there on the couch with my knees to my chest, trying my hardest not to bawl my eyes out. Julia was quietly talking with my mother in the other room." Now jennifer, we both kow this is for the best. She'll be safeir away from the states. Karen and Manny will take care of her. Her plane is on the 30th. She cant leave the house, and you should be with her at all times. Now lets tell klaire that she no longer is Klaire Leya clarcke. " my new name was Rowan Elenor Grace Adan . I had all the money I had in my bank acount plus a good 2 k from my mom and julia. All my belongings and my car have been shipped to Toronto Canada and the only things I will have on the plane with me is my iPhone, tablet, ipod, earbuds, my book, sketch pad and pencils and a pair or two of extra cloths. Oh and my guitar.
Well, that sums up the 2 weeks ago now how about I tell you whats happening now

So shawn is 16 in the first chapter and Rorry is 15. I'm going to do a time skip to around the Christmas time where Rorry finally meets Shawn ( he's on a magcon tour for the first couple chapters.). Hope you like this so far!!!
