Chapter 8

(update on a Wednesday whaaaaaa?!)

"Calum what are you-"

"Can I come up there it's really cold out here?" He says cutting me off.

"Um...sure." He nods and walks to the front of my house expecting me to follow him.

Calum's at my house. Why is Calum at my house? It's the middle of the night, what on earth is he doing. He wants to come in...my mom's home. I have to sneak a boy into my room. Can I even do that?

Before i leave i fix up my room a little. I don't think its considered cool to have stuffed animals on your bed and random cloths on the floor from being lazy the night before. I though everything that might cause him to laugh or make fun of me in my closet.

I sneak out my room and quietly go down the stairs to the front door. I unlock it and slowly pull open it open to find Calum looking at me. I open to door enough for him to slip through and close it back. When I turn around he looks like he's about to speak but I put my finger to my lips and grab his hand led him upstairs to my room. Once I shut the door and lock I turn around to see Calum smiling at me.

"Nice legs." He says with a smirk and I instantly curse to myself and sit on my bed pulling my covers over my legs so he can't stare anymore.

"Calum what are you doing here?" I say as he sits down across from me.

"You seemed upset by what I said and I wanted to explain myself better."

"Okay then what have you got to say?" He takes a breath and begins his speech.

"Okay so we kissed. It was great, even though you ran off when it just started to get good." I cringe when he brings it up again. Sometimes Jimmy Neutron can't solve everything i guess.

"So when you asked with we were dating i thought you were joking honestly. We only just started talking and it's a little soon to bring any of that up, plus as i told you i don't date. I'm not saying i don't want to date you, i'm saying i don't want to date anyone. Labels cause a lot of drama i don't want to deal with, plus where's the fun in it honestly. Can't we just have fun with it and ride it out."

By now I just have my head down and i'm just thinking everything over. I guess i never really thought it all through. I just started talking to Calum like 3 days ago and we barely know anything about each other. Most of the time he was a dick to me or other people. I don't want to rush into anything until i see him for who he truly is. Not the Calum Hood who bullies kids for no reason other than it's 'fun'. Not the Calum Hood who is trying to make me like him and make up for him mistakes. I want the Calum who doesn't put on a show for someone else. Whose Calum when no one else is there to care about his actions or see what he's doing.

"What are we doing if we are never going to date? My mind's not on that anymore but i'm curious how you treat girls if you don't date?" I ask. It's a good question. What do you do if two people eventually like each other but one doesn't want to date?

"I don't know. I mean the girls im with dont date either so its just flings maybe. Since we aren't tied to anyone we are free to do whatever." My breath catches at his last words.

'So no dating means no commitment so that means you just can be with whoever." i say looking down playing with my comforter

"Yeah i guess. Elizabeth don't take this too seriously. We are Juniors in high school, who wants a serious relationship right now?" He says laughing a bit at the end. I starting to see calum better know.

"Alright. We will just see how this plays out then i guess" i say forcing a smile. He can tell it's not genuine and reaches to hold me hands in his. He pulls me closer to him until we are inches from each other.

"Elizabeth i do like you. Let's just have fun for now. Nothing serious, just learning each other, Alright?" He rests his head on him and i close my eyes. Even I don't agree with his views i can't resist him when he touches me. Its like im under his spell and no matter i try i can't break out of it.

"Okay." i say in a whisper. He wrapps his arms around me and i move my head to chest.

"I gotto go now alright, i'll text you later on okay?" He says releasing me from his grip and standing us slowly i nod and get up with him. He grabs my hand and and opens the door again leading me back downstairs this time.

We get to the front door and he pulls me in for a hug again.

"I'll see you later Elizabeth, go get some sleep." He says smiling down at me

"Okay, Bye Calum." He gives me a quick kiss on the head before leaving out the door.

I slowly go back up to my room and climb into my bed. I can feel him on my skin and the smell of him cologne still lingers in my room. He gave me my first kiss today. He made my mind nearly explode and drove me crazy with the smallest things. He threw rocks at my window and I snuck him into my room with my mother sleeping down the hallway.

He's slowly changing the way i think and how i act.

We just have to see its for the better or not.

Oh and some of you may be wondering who the heck is Alex and what the heck is a Mackenzie lol.

So when i started writing this story it was for my friends. They don't particularly like 5sos so i just made it a random character, his name was Alex Mackenzie. So I wrote two versions on the story, one Calum one Alex. I wrote the Alex one first so i just changed the name in the Alex version to Calum when i was posting here...as you could see i didn't catch em' all(..hehe). I've fixed most of the mess ups through we are fine now. Ive also stopped writing to Alex one and i'm just writing this one. SO yeah everything's alright now
