He walked towards me, his leather jacket brushed a girls shoulder and she inhaled. I smothered a laugh at her pitifulness. He's not that good looking. Sure he looks like the god Poseidon, but that doesn't mean he's hot.
"Hi, I'm Freya!"
He grunted a response and slammed his books down in the worn, and graffiti covered desk.
"Fine, don't even talk to me Poseidon."
"What did you call me?"
He questioned, his voice was deep and rough with an edge of silkiness
"Um.... Well..... You kind of have a resemblance to the Greek god."
He looked at me.
"Whatever"
Was his only response. I rolled my eyes
"This is gonna be fun" I muttered to myself.
He looked at me again and rolled his eyes back at me, and I stuck out my tongue.
"What are you, ten?"
"Obviously. Why else would I be in trigonometry?"
"You're a smart-ass."
"So I've been told, Poseidon."
"Don't call me that."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm not a god. I'm the devil."
"Oh really? You seem more like a puppy."
"Try me."
"I will."
He glares at me and I glared right back.
"Freya and Finn, is there a problem?"
"No sir."
I said without taking my eyes off of Finn.
Eventually I looked to the front of the room and didn't look at Finn for the rest of the period. By the end of the day is learned he was in every. Single. One. Of my classes.
"You are soooooooo lucky."
Izzy told me.
"He is a complete ass."
"He certainly has a hot ass."
"Izzy, you're impossible."
"Impossibly in love with him."
"You don't even k ow him."
"I don't need to with a jawline like that I just need him to do me."
I burst out laughing. She's insane. Completely insane.
"Hey, Freya."
I heard linden call my name.
"Oh. Hey."
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out."
"I'm busy."
"I didn't even say when."
"Oh."
I cringed inwardly at myself.
Izzy tried to contain her laughter at my failure.
"Whatever. I don't even think you're hot."
"Okay, linden that's enough. Let's go over there shall we?"
Izzy interrupted before I went all psychology bitch on him. She led him towards a quite corner in the brightly lit courtyard.
"Hey."
I looked up and saw Finn.
"What the hell do you want?"
I asked him.
"I wanted to apologize, I kind of lost my cool."
"What cool?"
"You're making this hard."
"Just like you. Is that a banana in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
"Wow. You're really are a bitch."
"Oh honey, you don't even k ow."
"Whatever. I just wanted to say sorry."
"Well, I accept your apology, now if you excuse me."
I got up and took my backpack with me and went to the corner with Izzy. Linden had left already and she was on her phone taking not so secret pics of Finn.
"Izzy. Stop."
"Never, I need to remember him forever."
"Why? He's not even that hot."
"Okay, first, you're wrong. Two, I'm going to think of him when I'm with my boyfriend."
"Ew, you're gross."
"You love me."
"You're right."
"What did he want?"
"He wanted to apologize for being an ass."
"Let me guess, you told him?"
"Absolutely. He got on my bad side."
"Oh, sweetie. Shut up."
"Why?"
"He obviously likes you."
I shook my head.
"Can you give me a ride home? You know I love your convertible."
"Sure."
I replied. Izzy squealed and ran towards the cement parking lot in front of the two story high school, covered in ivy.
She jumped in the car, and somehow had already stolen the keys from me and honked the horn.
"WOOO"
She screamed.
I ran towards her afraid she would drive off with my precious baby."
I climbed in the car and as we pulled away I saw Finn in the shadows watching me.
