I arrive at school just barely before the late bell rings. I hurry to my locker and get my stuff for class. In approximately 37 seconds I'm just walking through the door of my first class of the day, when the late bell rings and the morning announcements start.
Exhausted, I flop down in my seat and start organizing my stuff on my desk.
"Hi Kitty," my best friend Kalel greets me.
"Hey Kalel," I respond, turning around, "what's up?"
"Not too much," she replied. "I am so tired, I couldn't sleep last night."
"You couldn't sleep? As in you were up late watching youtube videos, as usual," I said knowingly.
"Maybe, but I did try and sleep, I just never can. Besides, you stay up later than me watching Korean dramas all night."
"What!? Nooo. I totally do not do that. That doesn't sound like me at all," I said, even though Kalel obviously knew I was completely obsessed.
"Oh yeah, suree," she 'agreed.'
"Whatever. Did you get the pictures I sent you of Shinee at the airport?" I asked, moving onto a topic much more exciting than our lack of sleep, and the reasons for it.
"Yep, all 41 of them. Key looked so good!" She exclaimed happily.
"Doesn't he always?"
"Well, yeah," she agreed.
"You know what's even more important than how good they looked, though?" I asked, building up to amazing news I assumed she was not yet aware of.
"What could be more important than SHINee's good looks?"
"The fact that Shinee, and all their beauty, are in the same country as us," I said calmly, grabbing out a pencil and opening my binder.
"What!?" She screeched, "why didn't you tell me this sooner!? I'm in the same country as Key and you're just telling me this now!? OH MY GOD! KEEEEEEYYYYYY!!!! Aaaagggghhhgflhshd!"
Everyone in the class turned to look at Kalel freaking out in the corner.
"Shut up, you freak," I said hitting her lightly.
"But, Keeeyyy!"
"Maybe I shouldn't tell you that not only are they are in this country, but they're just in the city, you might die."
"Wait! What!?"
"Yeah, they should have arrived just over half an hour ago. I desperately wanted to go to the airport to see them, but my mommy wouldn't let me," I said sadly, pouting "she said I couldn't skip school to greet Shinee, and she couldn't drive me into the city anyway. I would willingly walk to the airport for a glimpse of my beautiful Taeminnie, but..." I ended with a sigh.
I looked over at my best friend, who looked like she was about to die from the excitement and shock. "Are you dying?" I asked her. Assuming she was, I added, "I better call my Lay lay unicorn."
"B-b-b k-k-k th-the," she stuttered, "so close," she added dreamily.
Our teacher stood up from her desk and walked to the front of the class.
"Why are they here?" Kalel asked me.
"Don't know," I said, putting my finger to my lips, signalling for Kalel to be quiet, and turned around, putting my focus on the teacher, while Kalel tried to calm herself down, with little success.
In about 4 minutes, my focus was gone, I was daydreaming about Shinee, and no longer concentrating on the teacher. How could I? With some of the most beautiful and wonderful people so close to me.
I was brought back from planning mine and Taemin's wedding when the classroom door opened.
I looked to see who had interrupted my imaginary wedding, and was completely shocked by who walked into my history class.
There is no way he is actually here, I thought. I must still be dreaming. There is absolutely no way. Just. No. Maybe they're performing at our assembly. No, that wouldn't make sense. They could be giving us some presentation. Or maybe I've just been thinking about him so much I'm seeing things, that must be it, I'm just hallucinating.
I blinked excessively and rubbed my eyes, he was still there.
How? What? No. This, just, like, it doesn't make sense, like no, there's no possible way.
I gently kicked Kalel's foot with my own to get her attention. She looked up and I heard her gasp.
"Hello," our teacher greeted him. She then turned to the class and introduced him to us, saying, "I'm sure you're all aware that our high school is involved in an exchange program with South Korea. Some of our students left last week, and now we will get five students from Korea. They arrived this morning. So, he will be a part of this class for awhile. His name is..."
"Lee Taemin," I whispered to myself.
A/N
This is a SHINee fanfiction. They are a South Korean boy band.
I love SHINee, especially the beautiful, cute, pretty, insanely talented maknae, Lee Taemin.
I do not claim to know shinee, or anything about them, other than what I've heard from other people and on the internets.
And if you don't know exo that whole calling my lay lay unicorn thing would seem really weird, so I thought it might be best to explain that. So Lay is a member of exo. And all the members of exo have symbols (and Lay's is a unicorn, so, yeah) and powers, as you can see in they're music video for Mama. Lay's power is healing, so when she was dying I said I'd call him, because he could heal her. Now that I've explained it, it just sounds really stupid.
This is my first attempt at a fanfic, so I hope you like it. :)
So, let me know what you think <3
(This is dedicated to an amazing, beautiful, incredibly talented, beautiful person, Lee Taemin, and @driftinginthewind. I love you guys)
