My Idol (a shinee fanfic)

Chapter 13

During our next class, math, I went on tumblr, being careful to keep my screen turned away from Taemin so he wouldn't see himself all over it. Next to me, Kalel was working on the math, occasionally asking me for help or clarification and Taemin was quickly working through the assignment.

When he had finished I told him he could do pretty much whatever he wanted as long as he didn't get out of his seat, run around the room and slaughter everyone with a machete. Then I returned to mindlessly scrolling through my dash as Taemin closed his books.

"So, are you done too?" Taemin asked as he turned to face me.

"Yep, I, uh, finished a long time ago," I replied, briefly lifting my eyes up from my phone screen to look at Taemin's pretty face.

For the rest of the class he continued to talk to me. My replies were short, awkward, and added very little to the conversation. Anything I said of any substance was about Taylor Swift, cats, or both.

Finally, the bell rang and we all went to English where we were to have a class discussion about a book we were reading in class. Taemin was sent out into the hallway to start reading it and I was permitted to go with him in case he needed help. I got to avoid the possibility of being forced to participate, but still had Kalel to fill me in on what happened, while I started the next worksheet and got to be around Lee Taemin. That's pretty wonderful, I think.

By the end of class I had finished all of the worksheet except for one question and Taemin and I had started on questions for the first chapter. When the bell rang we waited for Kalel to pass through the doorway and then joined her. She recounted what had occurred inside the classroom as we walked down the hall towards our lockers.

Hey!

Taylor Swift had her live stream on Yahoo!!!! She debuted her new single, Shake it Off, along with it's accompanying music video and announced her upcoming new album, 1989, to be released on the 27th of October. I'm super excited! Plus, she did this on the 18th, which is my birthday, so that was a pretty cool coincidence.

And, TAEMIN'S SOLO DEBUT!!!! Danger was so good. The song he did with Kai, Pretty Boy, is also fantastic.

So, yeah.

Last I saw this had 1.3k reads which is awesome! Unfortunately, wattpad really hasn't been cooperating with me lately, and today it decided to say that all my works had zero reads. When I went into create all the others were displaying the number of reads there, except for this one. So, that's just great. Whatever, whether it says it or not, I'm quite pleased with how many reads I've gotten anyway. Thanks.
