Chapter 15

Kathy's POV:
~7 MONTHS INTO THE PREGNANCY ~
Today was the day we found out the gender! My stomach was huge by now and I couldn't sleep through the night anymore. Justin has been in the studio nonstop lately. He's trying to get his part done for the album so he can be here when I pop this sucker out. Speaking of Justin I can hear his car in the driveway.

"I'm home!"

"I'm pregnant!"

"I know." He said walking in the room.

"I thought we were just talking obvious things."

"Oh so you're trying to fight?"

"Damn right! I wanna fight right here right now!" He laughed and climbed into the bed I was laying in the middle of. He played his head on my belly. "Can you feel it kicking?"

"Nope...wait yes I felt a kick." He smiled. Holding his head on my stomach while leaning in to kiss me. "Kellin said the album should be done by next month."

"That's great!"

"Yeah, we were pushing it on time."

"It's okay your studio is really close to the hospital I'm planning on birthing at."

"The wedding is in a week."

"Yeah! Are you excited?"

"More than I've ever been."

"Yay! We have to go the appointment is in 39 minutes."

"Okay I'll grab my keys start getting out of the bed." I gradually got out of the bed as Justin grabbed the keys and started warming up the car. I had a giant trenchcoat I was supposed to use for the next two months and if I get preggers again. I got to the car slowly and had to pus the seat back really far to fit my stomach. I got out at the hospital and walked up to the desk once through to doors.

"Katherine Hills."

"Room 345. Doctor Mescule is waiting for you."

"Thank you." I looked at Justin while walking to the elevator, "we're late." We started laughing once the doors closed. I leaned again the handle. We got off the elevator and walked into the room. Dr. Cook was in the room.

"Hello, Dr. M can't make it today so I'll be filling in."

"Okay." I said softly.

"So today is the great reveal?"

"Sure is!" Justin smiled.

"So the daddy is excited how about you momma?"

"Yeah, I'm just ready." She lifted my shirt up and put the gel on my belly is was like frostbite I felt it all across my body. I shivered and looked at the screen.

"So momma looks like daddy is gonna get his very own little girl."

"It's a girl?" Justin said so excited.

"Sure is!" Dr. Cook replied smiling.

"I can't wait to hold you baby girl." Justin said holding my belly. I sat my hand on top of his and smiled at him.

"That's all for today. Congrats." Justin took my hand and helped me off the table he had this new sense of care towards my abdomen.

"I get to brag to Kellin now. I get my own baby girl."

"And your very own wife. I guess your just copying his life." I laughed.

"No I love my life and it's very different from Kellin's and I'm grateful for that. And you." Justin said holding my hand as he helped me into the car. I was so excited that it was a girl. "Any name ideas?"

"I want to name her after one of my best friends."

"What's that?"

"Allison."

"Okay, I like that but I also like Briana."

"Which one do you like more?"

"Allison."

"Hi alli." I said looking down at my belly."Hey baby?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm scared."

"Me too."

"I feel really young to have a baby."

"I do too!"

"I'm glad it's happening though."

"I couldn't be happier about having this baby with you." Justin smiled holding my hand while driving. We drove home slowly I was about to fall asleep. "Baby? We're home you want to go to bed?"

"Nah. This baby is sucking the life out of me though."

"What do you want to do now?" He said helping me out of the car. I shrugged we walked in the house Zoē started freaking out.

"Zoe Zoe calm down." I said picking her up. She squirmed out of my arms. I felt bad because of how loud it was when she hit the ground.

"What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know. She is acting really weird though."

"Maybe she's pregnant too." Justin said teasing me. I smacked him in the back if the head. "Ouch!"

"Are you saying I'm acting weird?"

"No, if anything your acting more normal than you were at the hospital."

"Sorry, about how I was acting there."

"It's been months. Don't worry about it and it was a very stressful time."

"You didn't get mad at me irrationally like I did to you though."

"Kathy, you're the love of my life forever will eventually have arguments it's kinda how relationships work. I know it won't be all sunshine and rainbows, but it won't be cloudy every day."

"You just seemed really distant after we got back from the hospital."

"I was just trying to give you space you seem irratated that I was being to tentative about the baby."

"I'm sorry you're cute when you worry. I was upset that everyone was acting like I was so incompetent and not ready to be a mother."

"Kathy, no one ever said that. You were in a car accident and the car hit the side you were on. Kellin and I blamed ourselves. We had to make sure that we weren't responsible for you being harmed."

"I'm sorry I didn't want to talk about how I was feeling because you guys were treating me like a porcelain doll.

" I just care so much about you."

"I know it you can't spend every second everyday focusing on me and how I feel. I know you're gonna get worried. It doesn't mean I'm in any danger."

"I'm sorry."I went to reply and then I just saw the ground i think I collapsed. Then darkness consumed everything.
