As she was nearing the end of her pregnancy, Elsa felt miserable. She used her walking cane for a while but the baby's weight was more than she could handle. As she walked out of the bathroom one day, Elsa fell forward but thankfully Massimo was right next to her when it happened and caught her just in time.
She still wore her prosthetics but now she had no choice but to use her wheelchair to move around.
One afternoon, Massimo decided to take Elsa out for a picnic. As he pushed her wheelchair to their tree, Elsa kept her hands on her belly. She was feeling some small contractions since the night before but they weren't painful, just uncomfortable, so she didn't say anything to Massimo.
Once they got to their tree, Massimo helped Elsa out of the chair and onto the bench. Before he could turn around to get the basket, Elsa grabs his hand and pulls him into a passionate kiss.
When they pull away Elsa says, "I love you so much. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I wouldn't have been able to do this without you."
"I love you too my angel. I will always do anything for you. From that very first moment I saw you when that soldier brought you to me, I knew you were the one for me."
Elsa had tears in her eyes, she gives him another give but this time a gentler kiss. She smiles and strokes his face with her hand.
After a few moments Massimo turns around to get the picnic basket of food he had prepared for them. As he had his back turned Elsa closed her eyes and put her hand on the side of her belly. She breathes through the pain. Before that moment she hadn't felt that pain before.
"Could this be it?" She thinks to herself. A few second later the pain went away; Elsa didn't think anything of it anymore.
She opens her eyes and sees Massimo coming back to her with the picnic basket. He takes out the contents and they begin to eat.

After they finish eating, Massimo cleans up then sits beside Elsa and puts an arm around her. Elsa leans into him and puts her on his shoulder and closes her eyes. She always felt sleepy after a meal now a days.
She sighs and says, "Lets go home my love. I want sleep."
He kisses the top of her head and helps her up and guides her to the wheelchair.
"Ow!" Elsa yells as she hunches over in pain. Massimo gets a better grip of her and holds her up. "Elsa, what's wrong?"
"I...think...the baby is on its way." she says and she breathes in and out.
Massimo lefts her up in her arms and puts her in the wheelchair. He leaves the picnic basket behind and wheels Elsa back home.
A few minutes later, Massimo carried Elsa inside their home and lays her on the bed. They were far from any hospital so Massimo would, as they had agreed before, would deliver their baby.
The contractions came every ten minutes.
After an hour from getting back home, Elsa's water broke.

As the hours passed and the pain intensified, Elsa never complained. She had been in worse pain when those monsters cut off her legs and the months of recovery.
She let her instincts take over; she kept calm and breathed through the pain of each contraction. She felt the need walk after a while so Massimo helped her up and they went outside and walked around for twenty minutes.
When they got inside Massimo laid her in bed and checked on her, "It's almost time my angel. It won't be long till you have to push."
Elsa gave a small smile. She couldn't wait to hold her baby in her arms.

An hour and thirty minutes went by when Elsa said, "I need to push!"
"Okay my angel."
Massimo was ready with towels and blankets and warm water.
After pushing for ten minutes Elsa finally heard the most beautiful sound she has ever heard. The cries of her baby.
"You did my angel! Here's our daughter." Massimo says placing their baby on Elsa's chest. Elsa cries tears of joy and wraps her arms around her daughter.
"Oh Massimo, she's beautiful. Hi my beautiful baby girl, I'm so happy to finally have you in arms." She gives her daughter a kiss, "Happy birthday Gisela."
