I paced back and forth nervously. The mission in the human world was a failure because of me. I bit hard on my lip trying to understand how to fix this. In the room before me was my evaluation. Lord Aizen will be making judgment on whether I live or die, the thought sickened me to my gut. Being judged whether I'm good or not, I was created to serve lord aizen's wish, not to be evaluated based off my potential. I quickly switched over to my long finger nail then bit it off with ease. Ulquiorra steps out of the room, telling from his glare the evaluation did not end to well.
"Did I pass?"
I asked him, longing for an answer.
"No."
He calmly walks in front of me, his hypnotisc glare fixed upon me.
"Lord Aizen was quite disappointed with your progress , he claims to have mis calculations from when you where first created. His interest in whether you succeed or not is beyond my curiosity, tell me... Why is Lord Aizen so fixated upon you, it is obvious that you mean something to him, why would he go out of his way and ask me to help you improve?"
It was a relief to hear those words from Ulquiorra, but he seemed bothered by the situation, is this a sign he's taking notice in me? Before, to Ulquiorra I was nothing more then an ant but now, I'm a interesting science project. But why now? I continued to stare at him, unable to answer his question. Soon he became agitated with the subject.
"Whether you tell me or not, I will eventually find out why."
Then, he calmly walks past me.
It's a relief knowing that I still have a chance to impress Lord Aizen, it's also a relief knowing that Ulquiorra will be my master once more. The feelings are still there, me wanting to get closer to Ulquiorra, the espada's, Lord Aizen, but for now it's a start.
I will become a espada some day.
