The sweet talk and the blissful moments of happiness.
The softened confessions meant to be heard by souls alone.
The pin drops. The afterward has started. The rain no longer hits the glass to give her peace.
She's crying as you put down the phone
She's alone, she's alone.
Singing herself to sleep.
Wishing it was you but it just isn't true.
Shes smiling as your hands connect.
As she takes in your scent and remembers all that it brought.
She kisses your lips and feels relief for the first time.
Shes crying when you wall out the door.
But the damage Wong be seen, she won't let her troubles cause you pain.
And when you call..
The light inside ignites. It's a flame that can't be tamed.
Your voice. Your laugh. That little smirk she can hear.
But even now.
Shes crying when you put down the phone.
I'm alone.
Why do I have to feel so alone?

PoetryThis life is not about your blood or your ability to get by. It's about the constant battle you have with yourself. And, how you cope. I write to relieve the pain.
