Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I've been obsessed with finishing the final season of 90210. Just finished the last episode and it was definitely a good finale in my opinion. Although I would have liked if they could have had one last Dixon/Silver kiss, but who knows perhaps I'll write some fanfiction for it.
Anyway here we are at chapter thirteen and we have officially two chapters and one epilogue to go before the end of this story. I am currently working on chapter eight of Chasing Liam and I hope to have that story finished soon enough as well.
Wish me luck and hopefully I'll begin posting on sechedule!

Chapter Thirteen
A week has passed since Justin decided to leave town and get some space. It's been seven days since he last saw his friends and family. One hundred and sixty-eight hours have passed since he left to figure out exactly what it was he wanted. Now he is back and he's ready to fight. Most importantly however he was ready to leave the tight confines of the car.
Justin's car was named Emma and she was his baby. Emma is his life, but after a week of seeing almost nothing else, it was clear that both he and Emma needed their space. He allowed Emma to drive him to one last place before retiring for the night. It was close to midnight and he was only now returning to his small town.
Tomorrow he would be back at school.
Tomorrow he would see Sam once again.
The car pulled up in front of the familiar house where Justin spent the first eighteen years of his life. Everything was just the same as if he had never left. Justin had been hearing the rumors. His parents had been telling people that he was simply busy preparing for college instead of admitting the truth that he had left due to his being gay. The town would have a field day with that news. The truth would not stay secret forever and when it finally comes out his parents would be anything but happy.
With only slight hesitation, he lifted himself from the seat of his car and walked the familiar path to the front door. The living room lights were on so someone had to be home.
Raising his hand he knocked and waited hoping for an answer. The front door soon opened and the face of his father entered Justin's vision.
"Justin?" His father's voice was stiff as he unhappily saw him. "Well, what is it this time? Are you in trouble? Need money? I told you I'm not giving you anything until you put that nonsense behind you."
Justin shook his head at him while once again wondering how they could possibly be related. "I'm not here for anything, father. I wanted to tell you something." He raised his eyes expectantly. "I just wanted to say thank you."
"Excuse me?" His father demanded with a confused glare.
"Dad, you were a horrible father. You never read me a bed time story. The only thing you did more then drinking scotch and whiskey was work. You never even saw me as a son. To you I was nothing, but a way for you to raise your status among the town. Although, despite all that, I still thank you, because having you as a father sucked at times, but you taught me how to take risks, and to never give up, and to fight for what I want. So that's what I'm doing, dad. I'm fighting. I'm fighting for myself, for my future, and for the life I want to have."
The glare deepened at his words.
"You may not approve of me or the life I want, but I don't care," Justin told him. "This life . . . its my life. I don't want the life you have. I don't want to have a wife who follows my ever order and refuses to stand up for herself. I don't want a job that keeps me away from my family. I don't want a son that does nothing, but resent me."
