The welcome wasn't as warm as it had been in Gryffindor, the cold, piercing stares of glass sort of gave it away, not to mention all the whispering behind cupped hands. Harry wished more than ever now to be with his friends, at least then he'd have some people to talk to or at least be civil with. He had seen their common room before and it was quite nice actually, he found it a bit unsettling that it was also so cold here but it did make sense. He wasn't sure if he was shivering from the cold reception or the fact that he had been sitting in the tower for hours. With eyes downcast followed Blaise went down to the dormitories immediately and found himself standing face to face with Snape. Well this day is just getting better and better.

"Well well Potter, should have seen it coming but now you're in my grasp you won't get away with the nonsense you got away with before. As we had not been expecting this" He gestured vaguely in Harry's direction "We do not have enough beds for tonight, it is too late to transfigure furniture now, you will have to wait for the house elves tomorrow morning." Harry opened his mouth the object but Snape continued "and no Potter you cannot go and stay with your Weasley friend in Gryffindor, you must stay here. You will be sharing with... ah Draco Malfoy" with that he spun on his heel and walked out, barley giving time for Harry to respond or to even speak but it was too late. Snape was gone with a billowing cloak.

Thoughts of what sharing a bed with his sworn enemy would entail filled him with dread... maybe Malfoy would kill him, Harry wouldn't mind that in this current situation. Also how was he going to deal with his nightmares, it's not like he could stop himself having them, they were like a disease that plagued him and no potion could overcome it. Harry supposed maybe he could take a dreamless sleep but then that would mean he would be at risk of Draco Malfoy murdering him in his sleep and the heavy head was another undesired outcome of that - he needed to keep his senses sharp and alert down here. He was extremely aware of Blaise and Draco staring at him, mouths opening like fish trying to say something.

"Uh...well you know.." Blaise tried, he even attempted a smile.

Harry made a face and huffed "Don't bother" he said sternly and pushed past Malfoy harshly and into the toilets, locking himself in and sliding down the wall miserably. His knuckle decided in this moment to remind him it was terrible sore. Well isn't this just fantastic, it's not like anything else can go wrong today right???
