Gerard:
After work, Frank and I walk down to my house and I unlock the door. "You can stay for food, if you want!" I ask. I want him to stay as long as possible. "Sure! My mum cooks crappy meals anyway!" He laughs. Okay. We step inside.
"Hey! Mum! Mikey! I'm home!" I call. My mum calls
"hello, sweetie! Did you make friends with that new boy you were talking about?" I giggle.
"You could say that!" I reply. Suddenly, Mikey runs down the stairs calling "Gerard! Gerard! Gerard! I got an A in school today!" I was so happy for him, as he has autism. Which is really hard when you are about to start big tests. "Well done little bro!" I reply and give him a big hug. I hear Frank mumble a faint 'aw' and I beckon him to my bedroom. Not to do anything, not yet. We only just met! He looked around my room with what seemed like awe! He looked at each of my carefully drawn paintings and admired them. I have loved drawing and painting ever since I was very young!

Frank:
"Wow, Gerard! You didn't tell me you could draw so well!" His drawings are amazing!
"Thank you! I have been doing art since a young age and I have eventually progressed into this!" I reply. It's nice to know that Frank likes my artwork!
"Hey, do you wanna go and ask my mum if you can stay for food? I mean, she usually let's my friends stay round so why not you?" He nods politely in reply and we go downstairs to where my mum is cooking the pasta.
"Hey mum! This is Frank! The new guy from work. We are really good friends already! Would it be okay if he stayed for the food?" I ask hopefully.
"Sure, honey! And it's lovely to meet you Frank!" She replies warmly. Yes! She is in a good mood today! Hopefully this means she will accept me being gay. I will tell her while we are eating. Well, that is the plan anyway! We go back up to my room and talk.
