"We're gonna try that new restaurant for our romantic date. Okay?" Dec says pointedly at Ant.

"Alright," Ant distractedly responded; he was occupied by looking at some football news on his iPad.

"Okay?" Dec repeats again, this time with more emphasis.

"Yeah, I got it, Decs." Ant still didn't look up from his iPad.

Dec was getting frustrated. Ant wasn't responding in the way he wanted him to. So Dec tries one more time, "Okay?"

Ant huffs and puts his iPad down next to him on the sofa. "Aye, man! Why are you just saying 'okay' over and over again?! You sound like a broken record!"

"Just say 'okay' back and I'll stop!" Dec crossed his arms and pouted as he waited for Ant to say it back to him.

"Why do you want me to say 'okay' back to you?" Ant looked on at Dec, confused by his request.

"Because I want us to have a cute little saying like Gus and Hazel! I want us to have something like that. Something we only say to each other and no one else. "

"Are you serious, Decs? That's what this is about?" Ant asks incredulously.

"Aye." Dec still had his arms crossed, clearly miffed that Ant won't just play along with his request.

Ant sighs. He reaches over and uncrosses Dec's arms, so that he can hold onto his hands. "Dec, we don't need that nonsense. We don't need to have our 'okay' or 'always' to make what we have special. In fact, that's the beauty of our relationship; sometimes we don't have to breathe a word to say we love each other."

The sound of his soothing voice, paired with the light caresses of his hands, softened Dec's face. The shorter Geordie now had a small smile on his face as he listened to his husband speak.

"Dec, I just have to look at you and we both know that we love each other." Ant scoots closer to Dec looks into his eyes. "So don't think we need to have some silly saying to validate our love because one look from you, one smile from you-" Ant smiled as he cupped Dec's cheek, "- says enough for me."

Dec captured Ant's lips. It was a slow kiss; Dec didn't want to rush it. He wanted Ant to feel how much he loves him. When it ended, Dec sweetly smiled at Ant. "I hope you got what I meant by that kiss."

"Loud and clear," Ant coolly replies before recapturing Dec's lips once more.
