Miraculous - A Twist Of Fate

The Hero

Three words, one moment. Seems easy, huh? Not for Adrien. He's only just figured out that the love of his life was right before his eyes, Marinette.

Adrien was still not over the shocking fact that Ladybug is Marinette. He was on his way to school, noticing Marinette talking to Alya outside the school entrance. "Did you see how Ladybug destroyed that villan yesterday?! I got a perfect scoop for my blog!" Alya rambled to Marinette.

"Uh.. Y-eah I saw on the news.." Marinette said nervously. "Girl,you're never into the Ladyblog as much as I am, you're never around to see Ladybug either." Alya said while crossing her arms.

Marinette couldn't believe how obvious it was, yet, Alya still didn't know who Ladybug was. Adrien walked over to the girls, acting cool. Adrien knew now that Marinette liked him, so he made use of the situation.

"Oh, look! Your Prince Charming is coming this way." Alya whispered in Marinette's ear. "Hey, Lad- UH - Marinette. How are you?" Adrien asked nervously. He nearly said Ladybug on purpose to see her reaction.

Marinette blushed just by looking at him. "H-hey Adrien. I'm g-reat, you?" Marinette replied nervously. "I was okay a few seconds ago, but now I'm with you, I feel amazing." Adrien said with a wink.

Nino walked up to us. "Hey guys!" he said "Hey Alya." Nino kissed Alya on the cheek, making her blush. "Hi Nino. Let's go." Alya said while holding his hand and walking away with him. The two have been together for two months now.

Adrien and Marinette were left all alone. The blonde haired model began to think of those three words that he was going to say to Marinette, the three words that are very small, but make a huge difference, the three words that could change their lives forever.

I love you

Most people think these words easy to say, but when in love more than ever, it seems impossible. Marinette looked away from him, pulling her hair behind her ear. Why didn't I notice sooner? She looks just like my lady. The more important question is: why didn't I fall in love with Marinette sooner? Adrien thought to himself.

"Marinette, you really are beautiful." Adrien said, suddenly saying what he thought. Marinette blushed furiously and giggled happily. "I- uh... T-thank you, Adrien. You are beautiful yourself- I MEAN handsome, gorgeous, adorable, UH..." Marinette waffled as she facepalmed herself in shame.

Adrien laughed slightly. "I guess we should get to class. Wanna sit next to me? Nino will probably sit with Alya, so.." He asked with a sweet smile, just like Chat Noir's. "I'd - uh, love yo- AH. I'D LOVE TO, I meant." Marinette replied while blushing madly at what she almost said.
Marinette noticed his grin and took a moment to stare at his eyes. Adrien finally gathered the courage to say: "I....Lov-"

"Hey, guys! You comin'?" Shouted Nino from the distance, ruining the moment. "What were you saying?" Asked Marinette shyly. Adrien scratched the back oh his head nervously. "Uh, nothing. Let's go." He said.

Marinette walked in beside Adrien. She noticed how close their hands were then suddenly, Adrien held her hand. Marinette felt her heart flutter at the soft feeling if his hand. Adrien smiled again at her. That smile looks so much like Chat Noir's. Are they related or something? No, he would've mentioned that.The more I get to see Adrien, the more I think of Chat Noir. Marinette thought to herself.

Suddenly, Marinette was pinned against the wall by a face she hated. Chloe. "HEY! Marinette!! Stop holding Adrien's hand. He belongs to ME!!!" Choe yelled right in Marinette's ear. Her irritating voice made her blood boil and make Marinette want to fight her, but she couldn't.

"What's wrong, whimp?! Won't fight back, huh?!!" Chloe shouted. Marinette started crying, tears rolling down her cheeks and falling to the ground.

Just like a hero saving his princess, Adrien pushed Chloe aside angrily. "What is wrong with you, Chloe?! Why do you insist on hurting people's feelings?! I do NOT belong to you!... I belong to Marinette." Adrien shouted, voice getting softer as he said the end. "Not just me, everyone has had enough of your rudeness. I don't think you understand that I DON'T like you. My heart belongs to a kind, beatiful lady called... Marinette."

Chloe ran away with Sabrina, red faced in anger and disgust. Marinette was still crying, but tears of joy. Adrien extended a hand to help her up, Marinette took it while blushing furiously. As she stood up, Adrien kissed her hand gently and whispered, loud enough for her to hear, "My Lady."

Wait, what did he just call me?!

Hey, guys! BlackCat here. I just wanted to say, thanks for reading up to this part! It means so much! Now, I have a request. In the upcoming chapters, I will be introducing a new character. The new chapter, spoilers, will have a miraculous. However, I've not decided what animal the character will have (You know, like Marinette is based on ladybugs and Adrien is based on black cats).

The character is a boy, just so you know. So, if you don't mind, can you leave a suggestion or two about the animal that the character will have? If I find one that I like and is different from ladybugs and black cats, I'll use it!

Also, the person who came up with the idea will get a shout out in the next chapter AND I might use their name as the character's real name.
