Silence. One big silence. Chat Noir couldn't believe it. Ladybug loved Adrien, the real Chat Noir.
This was that one time where you're jealous of yourself. Have you ever experienced this, reader? That one time where you're jealous of the person that you've turned into.

Chat Noir held Ladybug's hand tighter. "I hope you find the love you're looking for. But ... Please remember that I love you." Chat Noir said while kissing her hand again.

Ladybug blushed until she finally got over it and said "I will. This won't effect our friendship, right? I do love you too, Chat, but I love Adrien too much to let him go."

Chat Noir found this as the perfect chance to see how much Ladybug loves the real him. "What do you love about him?" Chat Noir asked with a wink. "Oh, he's dreamy, handsome, amazing and just everything that I've ever wanted.." Ladybug explained as she drifted off into her own thoughts.

Chat Noir blushed furiously. Wow, she does love me, a lot more than I thought she would. He thought to himself.

"What else?" Chat Noir asked curiously. Ladybug stared at the rising sun, sighing to herself as she thought about all the amazing things about Adrien.

"He's really kind. He'd never leave someone out and he always seems to get along with me even when I'm so clumsy and stupid around him. He's a model but not one of those that brags about their looks to others. I always try to make him like me
.. But I don't think that it's working." Ladybug managed to say.

Why am I saying thsese things to Chat Noir? Why do I trust him so much? I feel like I can tell him anything... Ladybug thought.

Another eerie silence started between them... Then the sound of Ladybug's earings beeping interupted it. "Oh, got to go, Chat. See you around!" Ladybug exclaimed as she ran.

Chat Noir suddenly had an urge to follow Ladybug. Come on, you stupid cat! Just follow her! Last time you done that, you didn't even open the door. You can finally find out who the love of your life is, don't hold back! Wait... Why am I talking to myself..? Chat Noir thought stupidly.

As Ladybug leaped off the building, Chat Noir decided to put his heart over his mind. He quickly followed her into a dark ally. Chat Noir saw her land and then he decided to hide behind a dumpster. Chat Noir transformed back too as he watched.

As the last beep ended, Ladybug's hero suit disappeared and she turned back to her normal self. Adrien's reaction was instant, he stared eyed wide at his love. Marinette... How could I have been so blind?! Thought Adrien.

He continued to watch as Marinette talked to her kwami. "Wow, what just happened?" Asked Tikki in surprise. "I don't know, I don't understand my emotions right now.." Replied Marinette, clearly dazing off into her own thoughts.

"It feels like Chat Noir took the rejection too well.. Way too well."
Tikki said. Marinette thought for a few seconds. What if ... No, it couldn't be possible. Could it? Chat Noir is...Adrien? No. Marinette thought to herself.

It would explain all the weird emotions. But how comes she isn't obsessed with Chat Noir like she is with Adrien? Marinette loved both but she only had to pick one. But how could she possibly pick one then feel sad for the other?

Marinette's heart was in a big twist, her emotions were changing. "I didn't reject him, Tikki. He knows that I love him and it's true. But ... What about Adrien? I love him more than anyone in this universe but now I think Chat is close to being like that too.." Marinette rambled.

I just wish that Adrien was Chat Noir... Marinette thought sadly.

Meanwhile, Chat Noir was still watching, his mouth was jaw-dropped due to the situation. "I still don't understand why you're obsessed with ladies when you can be like me, not a care in the world." Plagg whispered annoyingly.

"Come on, Plagg, are you telling me you've never been in love with another soul before?" Adrien asked, obviously annoyed. "If cheese has a soul then yes but otherwise ... Not really."

"Not really?" Adrien asked while wiggling his eyebrows. Even though Plagg's fur was dark, you could still see a blush appearing on his cheeks. "You see the kwami over there?" Plagg asked while pointing at Tikki. Adrien nodded in response.

"We've known eachother for so many years that it seems like an eternity. As I've watched over all the Chat Noirs, the kwami over there, named Tikki, watched over all Ladybugs. I love her, more than I can say. But because you and Ladybug don't know eachother's identities, we haven't seen eachother for a while and I've... W-well, after you two know eachother's identities, I'll finally be able to see Tikki again and tell her how I feel. Every day I hope that I'll see her again." Plagg explained.

Adrien's expression suddenly changed from curiousity to saddness. "Oh.. I'm sorry, Plagg. I never knew you could be so cheesy." Adrien joked, trying to lighten the mood. Plagg tried a smile but couldn't help looking back and staring at Tikki, his blush was now as visible as the red on Tikki's skin.

"Don't worry, Plagg, I'll make sure that me and Ladybug will know eachother's identities. Besides, I already know her identity but I doubt that she knows mine." Adrien reassured while patting his kwami's back.

Adrien still couldn't believe that Marinette was Ladybug, how didn't he notice sooner? It's probably because Marinette acts weird around Adrien, but as Ladybug she acts normal. What would happen if I asked Marinette out to the prom as me? It would be like asking Ladybug, right? Adrien thought.

He watched as Marinette walked out of the ally, sighing to himself. He did love Marinette, even if she wasn't Ladybug. "Hey, we should go too. You've got school, remember?" Said Plagg sarcastically. "Sure, let's get going!" Adrien exclaimed.
