"She did get kidnapped." Ms. Aria adds.
"What are you saying teacher?" Kensuke asks shocked and unable to understand the situation.
"Listen to me carefully, Kiritsu followed the people that took Hina to their hideout, but he can't do anything about them. Kouken are not allowed to save a human that is not yours."
"Wait, Kouken? Kiritsu?" Kensuke interrupts, " Mr. Aria how do you know about Kouken, you can see them too?"
"Kiritsu is my Kouken, and no I can't see them, not right now," She replies.
Kensuke stands still shocked in the doorway holding the phone to his ear and with nothing to say.
"Kensuke! There is not time, I believe that they plan on killing Hina."
"What!" He snaps out of his shock.
"Kiritsu should be on his way to you right now. When you meet with him follow him, he will take you to them."
"Okay." Kensuke suddenly runs out and down the stairs after closing the door to Hina's room, "Ok Ms. Aria I'm out side," Kensuke says while looking around for Kiritsu.
Mr. Aria notice the change of pace and that he sounds more determined.
"After reaching the hideout, the rest will be up to you," She tells him.
"Okay, I understand."
"No hesitation... Good because it might not be that easy," She carefully tells him.
"Right," He quickly answers as Kiritsu appears out of thin air.
"Kensuke, ready?" He asks him.
"Yes!"
"Before leaving do you have the box I gave you yesterday?"
"Yes, why?"
"You are going to need it, now hurry, try to keep up." Kiritsu says and then dashes forward.
Kensuke follows after him but he is too fast and has quite the distance between them.
"I have to keep up too Kiritsu, I need to save Hina. No matter what!" Kensuke thinks to himself panting and suddenly starts to catch speed.
"That's good, Kensuke is exerting his human speed. I didn't think he could do it but he's keeping up to me." Kiritsu says to himself while looking back at Kensuke.
A few minutes later Kiritsu stops in front of an abandoned warehouse.
"This is it Kensuke, take out the scroll from the box." Kiritsu quickly orders him.
"The scroll?" He asks while taking the box out of his bag.
"Kensuke, what you are about to do is going to change your life," Kiritsu says looking straight at Kensuke, "Are you ready for that?"
"Yes, anything to save Hina," Kensuke replies without hesitation and takes the scroll from the box. "What do I need to do?"
Kiritsu stares at him for a second with a serious expression. "Alright then, if you are ready open the scroll and place your hand on the writing."
Kensuke locks his teeth together, opens the scroll, takes a deep breath and places his hand on the scroll. They both stay silent and stare at the scroll that hangs from his hand and sways in the air. Nothing happens. Kensuke looks at Kiritsu and he looks back at him.
"... what is suppose to happen?" Kensuke asks.
"... Hmm, well I don't exactly know," Kiritsu responds with all seriousness.
"What! You have to be kidding me!" Kensuke shouts flapping the scroll around.
"Hey, calm down. I don't know how it's suppose to work. It is made especially for you to use it."
"For me?" Kensuke looks back at the scroll, "Okay, one more time." He says closing his eyes.
"Believe in yourself Kensuke." He hears a voice inside of his head and quickly opens his eyes. As if it was instinct, like he's done it before, he swings the scroll across in front of him and quickly strokes his middle and index finger tips through it. While sliding his finger from one side to the other smoke starts to emit from the track that his fingers touched. After reaching the end of the scroll, Kensuke moves his hand towards the accumulated smoke and grasps something from inside the smoke, which instantly makes the smoke condense into a Katana.
"I'm ready."
