The nurse came running in with a very suprised look on her face.
"Derek, can you hear me? If you can hear me blink." The nurse said as she kept shining the light back forth on his eyes.
He blinked and started to move his mouth.
I ran over to him.
"Derek, baby, don't talk just relax."
I wrapped my arms around him, and started to cry. I kissed him and kissed him.
"Derek, I'm so glad you're okay. I love you, I've missed you so much."
He lifted his arms up slightly onto my back and hugged as much as he could.
I felt a sense of relief knowing that he was atleast awake and he knew who I was.
The machines all started to go crazy, beeps and noises.
"HE'S CODING" she yelled and 3 other nurses ran in. They sat me down in a chair.
I can't speak, I don't know what to do.
As I'm watching them work on Derek it didn't seem real....
