But then
I realize

The stars
Are shining

White
And bright

Even if
The night
Is dark.

So I
smile
And hear
their voices
sing

"Sit down. We'll warm you
Tonight. Listen
To our songs
And we'll help you
On the way."

And I
forget

I can't open
up
The window

I sit down
And watch
Listen
As the stars

Tell the story
of my fate

And I realize
Once again.

"This is okay."

So then
I fall asleep

The stars
watching over me;

singing.

"You're never alone."

Over

And over

Again.
