INTRO:
This story is about a 11 year old boy name Stanley, but his friends and family call him Stan. Stan's father is serving his country as a Marine. Stan's mother will not tell much of anything to Stan about his father because he hasn't seen much of him so he decides to take matters into his own hands.
The Real Story:
It was a summer evening at supper time and Stan was not feeling good, so he quickly ate his chicken and fries then went to his room to go to bed.His mother knew he was not feeling so she decided to go and check on Stan. She noticed that Stan was tossing and turning bed, so she said is there anything I can do for you honey? Stan slowly replied " Yes, please?" His mother ( Susan) very quickly responded "Ok Honey, what is that you want?" "Can you tell me about Dad?" Stan replies. Then Susan Screams "YOU KNOW WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT YOUR FATHER!!!"Susan then quickly realizes that she was way to mad about that so then she apologizes and Stan says" thank you mom, but you are right we never know what can happen." "Can Jimmy (Susan's Boyfreind) and I talk tomorrow PLEASE?" Susan responds with "Fine, only if you are good and you go to bed as soon as possible" Then Stan responds in a murmur "Fine" Then Stan falls asleep.
It is the next day. Stan wakes up at 1:47 a.m. and hears a loud noise around/ at his house thinking it was an April fools joke because it was April 1st. Stan walks down the hall and hears loud banging at the door. Stan quickly runs to his mom and says in a hurry " I am scared there are noises all over the house but I think somebody is breaking in!" The door opens suddenly to Stan's mom's room and all you hear is a sudden "BOOMMM.!?" "NO" Stan cries and then yells "MOM PLEASE SAY THAT YOU ARE OKAY.!?" The door slams behind Stan he runs to get a face for the burglar to give the police a sketch. Stan sees the criminal go upstairs and knows he is going to jump from the window so Stan decides to outsmarts the criminal and goes out the front door and is going to meet him at his car so that is what Stan does then he recognizes the car and thinks in his head " Is that Jimmy's car.!?" Stan is way ahead of the criminals game so he has time to go through the car and says to himself after he finds the registration "IT IS JIMMY WHO SHOT MOM.!?" " I WILL KILL HIM!" Jimmy notices Stan in the car and knows that Stan has figured him out and while Stan was going through the car Jimmy draws his gun from his right pocket and starts to point it at Stan then he quickly draws the gun away from Stan then points it at his head then Jimmy pulls the trigger and "BOOM.!?" Then Stan notices he was there after the gunshot so he runs to check on him and feels his pulse but then yet realizes there is none, he then quickly runs inside and grabs his family's house phone and dials 911 and the dispatch says "Do you need Police, Paramedics, or Fire Fighters today?" Stan replies " The Police and Paramedics" Then Stan looks over while waiting for the dispatcher to respond and sees that the house is on fire then he pulls back up the phone and screams " WE ALSO NEED THE FIRE FIGHTERS PLEASE SEND THEM ALL QUICKLY" The dispatch then responds "What seems to be the problem?" No response from Stan"HELLO, HELLO" the dispatch says. There was no response because Stan is running into the house for his mom." MOM WHERE ARE YOU" Stan screams to the top of his lungs."MOM MOM MOM MOM MOMMY WHERE ARE YOU?" The police, paramedics, and firefighters arrive and the firefighters come inside and take Stan over the shoulder and bring him outside. Stan sits in the back of the ambulance with a towel around him grasping a cup of hot cocoa. The police investigate and find little evidence, the paramedics take Jimmy and announce him dead at 4:22 a.m. , and the firefighters put out the fire and find Susan and hand her over to the paramedics and she is taken to the hospital, but still no word if she is still alive or not. At the hospital waiting for the results for his mom Stan doesn't know if his mother will make a recovery if she is dead or what.The nurse Miss Jackson and the Doctor Mr.Rodhiga (but everyone calls him Mr. Rod) came out to the lobby together and Miss Jackson said " Susan will make a full recovery"Then Mr.Rod says "Yes she will make a full recovery but need to stay for 30-45 more minutes then she should be able to go home and relax."The Doctor and Nurse were acting very strange and they walked away together into the break room so Stan followed them and noticed that they were talking about Jimmy and they were saying " I miss working with Jimmy he was the best co-worker murder at least while we worked with him"Stan quickly took actions into his own hands. Stan then runs down the long hospital hall dodging every patient he can, then he finally finds his mom at the whole other side of the hallway Stan says in a rush "I figured out something we need to go home and crack it." "Susan quickly says in a low pitched voice " What is it honey?" Stan quickly responds with that to " No time to talk, but we can later LETS GO NOW YOU HAVE GOT TO TRUST ME" Susan responds with "Fine let's go to the car " Susan and Stan run to the car in the parking garage but Stan hears something so he says in a whisper " Mom go to the car I will be their in a minute" Susan responds with " There is something going on there right now i have a feeling it has to do why we need to leave JUST GO" Susan quickly responds with "OK, I'LL START THE CAR" Stan then says "Okay bye.!?" Stan hears the people walking further and further into the distance talking about the death of Jimmy then he sees their jackets and quickly realizes that it is Miss Jackson and Mr.Rod. " It's them I knew it I knew it" he says in his mind. "I have got to see where they are going " Stan pulls out his phone and calls his mom and tells her where he is at and to come pick him up. His mother arrives she picks him up. Stan yells " FOLLOW THEM!" And that is what they do. They follow the car to the airport Stan and Susan think they are going to fly somewhere but 45 minutes later they came out with tickets to go somewhere they then leave and Stan and Susan follow them back to a house but then they decide to leave because it seems as if they are not suspects. They go back home and go to bed within 5 minutes.
It is the next day and Stan is ready to get at it, but on the other hand Susan is sleepy. Stan says to Susan " Can we go to the mall" Then Susan responds "Not right now I am sleepy" Stan says "How about we tell stories and then that should wake you up " Susan responds with a enthusiastic "Okay" "I'll go first , I remember when I was 2 and we were at South Bay Water Park and Dad, you, and I were all on the lazy river having fun together." Susan then goes and says " I love when your dad you and I all were at New Year's ball drops." "I really miss dad I have been thinking about going to see him" Stan says in a respectful high pitched tone. Susan then says "If we ever could make it out there that would be nice.!?" Susan then says " How about we try to go out their in May or June?" Stan responds with " That would be fun" "Now i'm ready to go to the mall Stan" Susan says. Stan then says "Yes" They get in the car and drive to the mall and see Stan's cousin Mabel. Mabel spots Stan in the store Tuxedo Refno Leshamonina Mabel then says " Stan is it you?, I feel like I haven't seen you in ages!" Stan replies with " Yep, but I kinda like it that way" Stan then says how about you, my mom, and me all shop together?" Mabel replies with " Sure why not" Stan goes to the front counter at Tuxedo Refno Leshamonina and they said Susan's credit card is denied and that it says see A.T.M. immediately, they don't get the tux but then they also have to go to the A.T.M. and it says bankrupt Susan says " This can not be correct" "Lets just go home" Stan says goodbye to Mabel after going to shops with Mabel and Susan around the mall . Susan and Stan leave and go back home and talk for a little Susan then says " I can't afford tickets to see your father now it'll have to wait" Stan then replies with " I understand mother" then Susan says "I guess it is a good thing then that I already bought tickets for days from now!!!" Stan replies with " NO WAY YOU ARE LYING" Susan then says " Okay you don't have to come"Susan then says before Stan can even say anything " Just go to bed" Stan then says "FINE."
It's the next day both Susan and Stan are awake Susan comes to Stan and says " I need to confess something" Stan replies " What is it ?" " When you were born you had a twin that died right after birth " Stan quickly replies " How could you keep this from me I HATE YOU" "Well that is not it, I never told you that I had a twin sister but she is missing so you have an aunt on my side of the family as well" Stan nodes his head and goes back to his room and throws the covers over him. Susan starts to cry, she then goes back to bed as did Stan.
It is the next day Susan wakes up Stan they get ready and they go to the airport to leave for California to see Stan's dad. On the way to the airport Susan says " Even though we both are twins and our twins are missing/ dead I think we just be grateful because we are still here." Stan says " I agree" Stan and Susan get to the airport and they are early they go to the stand to get on the plane. They get up there and say "We are on the 9:40 a.m. flight to California, Sacramento" The counter ticket personal says " Mam i'm sorry but that flight has been cancelled." Susan and Stan say at the same time "NO" They both just go in a hurry and go back home and unpack everything then go to bed , well at least Susan does. Stan thinks in his mind " We need to still solve the case of what Jimmy did maybe along with Miss Jackson and Mr. Rod because he is really good at that kind of stuff and I also want to just talk with him because I haven't seen him in a while" Stan goes to bed at 3:02 p.m. and then wakes up at 11:27 p.m. Stan says in his mind " That's it i'm going to go see dad " Stan then thinks " How am I going to get there though?" " I know I will travel by bike, but I need to get a map first to see where i'm going and how long it will take me" Stan thinks in his head. Stan pulls out a map and thinks in his mind " Ok we live in Indianapolis, Indiana I will ride through Illinois, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Iowa, and Nevada to get to California it will take 197 hours on bike but it is worth it" Stan then packs his stuff goes and gets a rack out of his garage then heads to California at exactly 12:00 a.m. ...........................
