It is the first day back at 4:09 a.m. in Indiana from Las Vegas. Everybody is tired from the car trip and the case back home. Stan wakes up at 4:32 p.m. and he is in his bedroom, Susan is in her room, Melody and Harold are next door at their house, and Mr. Rod is at his house forty minutes away. Stan thinks that the case was a good excuse for everyone to spend time together. Stan falls back asleep at 4:58 p.m. Susan wakes up at 7:12 p.m. she then makes breakfast. Susan then proceeds to walk over and wake up Stan. Susan says "Stan, honey wake up." Stan gets up. Susan knew that Stan was very tired and a little light headed, so Susan made sure he didn't fall and held his hand.Susan says "Eat your breakfast, Stan" Stan then says "Okay, but How many days until school starts back up?" Susan replies "I am not sure, but we cannot worry about the future but only the present" Stan replies "You are right" Stan then proceeds to eat his breakfast"
Susan's POV
I am eating my breakfast with Stan, I then hear knocking at the door. I proceed to open the door, I look through the peephole and see a man in a very formal suit. I open the door slowly. The man says "Hello how are you today?" I respond " Good, Good" The man then says " Great, Well anyways I was sent here on behalf of the city. We have been doing updating on previous files for the city and we came across a document from when you born and it says that you are a triplet you have two sisters named Madison and Jennifer and as you know Jennifer had already died but on a paper you filled out you didn't you stated that you are a twin and you only had Jennifer as a sibling and that your mother died when giving birth to you guys. And Jennifer had Mabel but before she died and is now living with your dad. We just wanted to make sure you knew that you are a triplet." I then says " I never knew such of a thing, I can't believe it we need to look for her as soon as possible." Then the man gives me a card that says on it his name and info his name is John Stock, John then says "I am here to help you with what you need help with and the lab wanted me to tell you that you are positive for stage for III breast cancer." I then realize that Stan heard, I turn around and he looks at me with a sad face, I feel bad that I didn't tell him I went to check. Stan then ran to his room.
Stan's POV
I'm feeling betrayed and their is nobody I can turn or talk to, accept Mabel my cousin. I get my phone of the charger it is at 53%. I scroll through my contacts, I finally reach the M's and see Mabel. I click the call button. She answers and says "Hello.!?" "Hi" I say "Hello, Stan." Mabel says to me. I say to her "I need you in this dark time of mine." She says "Why?" I say back to her "Just come over here and then I will tell you." She responds "Okay, bye" she hangs up and I know that she is in a rush to get over here" "It is 7:43 p.m. and Mabel is still not here" I think to myself. Finally she walks in the door thirty seconds after I say that to myself. Mabel says in a rush "What is it?" I give her a note that says "A man came to our door earlier in a buisness suit, mom answered the door and she finds out about our moms having a triplet, the man then tells her that she has been tested positive for Stage III Breast Cancer." Mabel sobs and then says "What? But.. Stan it will be okay, she can work through it we can all work through this" I then give her another note I just wrote and say" I can't have almost all of our family gone.Dad is already gone, both of my parents will be dead." I then cry myself to sleep, Mabel sits at my computer desk crying, then goes to sleep herself.
