chapter eight

*Madison's pov *

I heard beeping and it smelled like hand sanitizer. I slowly opened my eyes. I looked around. I'm in a hospital. I saw a girl standing by my bed with her head down. "Hello?" I asked. She looked up with tears in her eyes. "Madison!" She said touching my arm. I moved away. "Who are you?" I asked. She took a step back, a sad look crossed her face. "Y-you don't remember me?" She asked. I shook my head. "Madison I'm Kylee your best friend you've gotta remember me." She said. " I'm sorry." I said. I honestly don't remember her, in fact I don't remember anything. The girl ran out the room and a doctor came in. "Hello Madison, I'm Doctor Sterlington and I'm here to check up on you." The doctor said. She walked up to me and sat on the chair that the girl was in. " What is the last thing you remember Maddie?" She asked. I thought really hard. "I can't remember anything or anyone." I said. She nodded and wrote something on a paper. A boy came running into the room.👇👇

"Madison!" He said. He grabbed me hand which I pulled back. "You have to remember me! I'm your brother, Garret. I'm your only sibling." He said. " You're scaring me." I told him. A tear fell down his cheek. " You don't remember me." He whispered before he left the room. "There is a boy that would like to see you is that alright?" I looked down and nodded. She walked out the room and a boy walked in. He stood by the door and looked at me. He had bright blue eyes and spikey blonde hair with brown roots. He looked familiar but I don't remember. "Hi." He whispered. "Hi." I said. He walked closer to me. "Do you remember me?" He asked. "No."
He sat on the edge of my bed and took my hand. "Do you remember you're powers?" He asked. I looked around the room. I found a newspaper on the counter and I lifted it up. "That's all I remember how to do." I said. He rubbed my knuckles with the top of his fingers. He looked up at me and smiled. He snapped his fingers and an oval shaped thing appered. He looked into it and I did too. There were little videos playing, of a little girl and a boy. They were laughing and having fun. In one of them they kissed and in another one they were running through a field. My head stared to hurt. "Do you remember anything now?" He asked, his eyes filled with hope. " I'm sorry." I said. The oval disappeared and he stood up. He kissed my cheek and walked to the door. "Dalton." I whispered. "Dalton." I said a little louder. "Dalton!" I yelled. He turned around. " I remember you!" I yelled. He ran up to my bed and kissed me. It was filled with love and happiness and i felt fireworks and millions of butterflies. He pulled away so we could breath. "I love you Maddie and I'm sorry for everything but I love you so much and I don't want to lose you ever again. The doctor came in and smiled. " I'm sorry to intrupt but Mr.Rapattoni you have to leave." She said. He nodded and left. She sat in the same chair she did the first time.

*Dalton's pov *

She remembered me. I can't belive it. I walked out to the door into the waiting room. Garret was crying and my sister Sophie was comforting him. I walked up to both our families. "She remembers us." I said. They stood up. "She does?" Mrs.Kurt asked in shock. "Yes." She started crying tears of joy and everyone engulfed me in a hug. "My baby is back." She said. "She's back." She repeated.

*Madison's pov *

"What do you remember now?" The doctor asked me again. " I remember my brother and my mom and dad, oh and Dalton and Sophie. And Kylee and Hunt-" I stopped. " What's wrong?" The doctor asked. "Hunter, the house." I said shaking my head. The monitor went higher and higher. A few doctors came running in telling me to calm down. " She's having a panic attack!" One of them yelled. The doctor I was talking to ran out of the room. Another doctor gave me a shot and i felt weird. I laid down and looked at the ceiling. This felt different.

*Kylee's pov *

We were hugging Dalton because we'll I dunno but we were. The doctor came running out to us and we broke away from the hug. " Madison is having a panic attack and we need to know why, she said something about Hunter and a house!" She said. Oh shit. Everyone looked around weirdly. " You might want to sit down for this and someone needs to hold Dalton down." I said. Everyone obeyed and Dalton's dad held onto Dalton's arms. "The day Dalton left Madison ran into a guy named Hunter Knoche-" " I have a feeling I'm not gonna like the rest of this story." Dalton said through clenched teeth. I looked at him. "So she was crying and he asked if she wanted to come to his house, due to the fact that she had pretty much lost her best friend she agreed. He took her to his house and he tried to, r-rape her. She couldn't-" I looked at the doctor; I can't tell her about our powers. " She couldn't move away. He almost succeeded untill his little brother came in, so she has been scarred for life which is one of the reasons she cut." When i finished the story both sets of mothers look like they would cry, both dad's looked ready to kill and Dalton and Garret looked; dangerous. Dalton's face was red and his eyes turned dark blue. He wiggled out of his dad's grasp and ran out of the hospital. Uh oh
