(Dalton is 11 and Madison is 10)
"Have you two already had your first kiss or what?" Holly asked. We looked at eachother and then back at her. "Yes we have!" We both said. That wasn't even true but we both knew what the other one was thinking, it sounds weird but if he was sick I got sick and if i hurt myself that part of his body was hurt too. "Then who did you kiss?I kissed James." She asked me. "Dalton help me!" I said in my mind. "I gottcha." He said back. "I kissed-" I was cut off by Dalton "me, she kissed me." He said. I looked at him and smiled. "You two would be a great couple ya know?" Holly said. I really didn't like this girl at all. She was snobby and she thought she was better than everyone. We finished the rest of class and me and Dalton walked home. "I can't believe we lied to Holly like that." He said.
"I know right i haven't even had my first kiss yet, and i know you haven't either." I said. He looked at me. "How do you know that!" He yelled. I laughed. "I can read your thoughts idiot." I said. He blushed. "Oh- yeah I forgot. Don't you think that it's weird that we can do that, i mean is it normal?" I laughed again. " There is no such thing as normal Dalton." I said as we walked up the path to my house. We walked in the door and my brother ran up to me. "Hi Maddie!" He said. I kissed his cheek and Sophie ran out the room. "Hey Soph!" I yelled. She ran up to me and gave me a hug. " Well i guess nobody likes Dalton." Dalton said. We all laughed and they gave him a hug. We went into the kitchen and grabbed some gummy bears, cheese-its, and juice boxes and then we went upstairs to my room. He sat down on my bed with the snacks while i sat on my spinal chair. "I wish we actually kissed, i hate telling lies." Dalton said in his head. I smiled and walked over to the bed sitting beside him. He looked up at me and i kissed him. "What was that for?" He said when i pulled away from him. "Because you don't like telling lies." I told him. He took a juice box and opened the straw and i took the bowl of gummy bears and went back to my chair.
We watched Dr. Who until it was time for him to go home.
