chapter nine

* Dalton's pov *

He tried to rape my best friend. I'm gonna kill him.

I ran and ran even though I had no idea where I was going. Then it clicked, Maddie always kept a journal under her mattress. I went into an ally and opened a portal to her room. When I got there i went straight to her bed I felt under the mattress and i found it. I pulled out a black composition book with feathers and beads. I sat down and opened up to the first page, by the looks of the handwriting and the date I could tell she was about eight when she started it.

March 17, 2005
This is my first time writing in this journal. My best friend Dalton just left and I miss him already, we have been friends since I was four. He only a year and a few months older than me so he thinks that he can say stuff like 'when i was your age'. I laughed but I still love him. He took me to our favorite place in the world, the field. We found it a long time ago but I feel like every time we go there i just found it again.

It's been a long time since I wrote in here. I'm ten now and I kissed Dalton, i didn't feel anything like i read in books. I was supposed to feel fireworks and bombs go off but I didn't. I want to tell Dalton this but I don't want him to be sad I hate seeing him like that.
That broke my heart, that day I felt bombs and fireworks off and that's how I knew I loved her but she didn't feel the same, but in fact we were ten so i guess that had a reason.

It's been four years since I wrote in here and I'm glad I found it, Dalton left me. I was hurt and I felt......lost. I dunno what to do with myself. I found a broke pencil sharpener blade and i put it to my wrist but then I thought that my mom would see it so I started to cut my thighs. It felt calming. But that's not really why I started cutting, it was part of the reason but the main problem was hunter. He tried to rape me. When I ran from the airport and into him he asked me if i wanted to go to his house and I said yes. When we got there we went to his room and he tried to kiss me but i pulled away so he grabbed my wrist and pinned me down to his bed. I tried screaming but he put a rag in my mouth. All I could do was cry. He pulled my shirt up and then his brother ran in the room, he heard my cries thank god. He pushed hunter off of me and told me to run. I spit the rag out of my mouth and ran out of the room. I teleported back home and started crying for a long time. I never told anyone except Kylee and i plan on keeping it that way. I still remember what his house looks like. A small brick house with faint baby blue steps. I know that house, we used to ride out skateboards around it. I closed her book and put it back under her mattress before I opened a portal to his house. I knocked on the door hard. A guy who looked about my age opened the door. I looked at him. "I'm looking for Hunter Knoche." I said through clenched teeth, my fist balled up to my sides. "I'm him why-" I punched him right in the nose. He fell down and I climbed on him punching him left to right. I heard a muffeled scream from upstairs. I punched him one last time before I ran upstairs. The scream was coming from a door and i turned the handle and i saw a girl tied up. She looked scared, he hair was a mess and she had bruises all over her body. I ran up to her and touched her face. She flinched. She had blonde hair that looked like it had been dyed a few times and blue eyes. I untied her arms and legs and she pulled the rag out of her mouth. " I'm here to help you but you have to trust me." I said helping her stand. She almost fell back down but I caught her. I picked her up bridal style and started walking twords the door but mega-rape-a-chick came in the door. He looked pissed. I put the girl down on the bed and tried to punch him but he caught my fist and twisted it. I used my levitation to push him back to the wall. He looked shocked, i choked him and struggled for air he passed out and I dropped him to the floor. I looked at the girl and she looked terrified, even more than when I found her. " You can't tell anyone about what I just did okay?" I told her. She nodded. I picked her up again and opened a portal to the police station. " What's your name?" I asked her. "Cat but you can call me kitty."

There ya go babes! If you are a fan of Fly away hero then you should know Knoche and Kitty  but if not you should go and check them out! Sorry that I didn't update sooner but I did like two days ago, but I usally read it to my sister before I publish it because she judges it but she was at a friends house. But now it's here!!!! Thanks for reading and i try to make every chapter 1000 words including authors notes. And that's what I'm talking to do.
