"I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose!
Fire away, fire away.
Ricochet, you take your aim!
Fire away, fire away.
You shoot me down but I won't fall.
I am titanium!
You shoot me down but I won't fall.
I am titanium!" I hummed along with the song 'Titanium' as I dried off my wet body. I had just gotten out of the shower, and I was drying off in my bathroom. I walked out with my towel wrapped around my damp body. I continued to hum as I walked over to my door and closed it, dropping my towel on the bed. I walked over to my dresser, getting my deodorant, lotion, baby oil, and baby powder. I then heard someone -pretty sure it was a man- say a cuss word out loud. I looked around my room and didn't see anyone. I peeked out the window and I still didn't see a soul. I closed my blinds and walked back over to my bed. I started to lotion up my body as I looked up at my calendar. I saw that there was 2 more days of school until it was summer break. I cheesed in excitement.
After I finished putting my lotion on, I put on a regular white tee, blue jeans, my blue & black Nike's, and my black Peace hoodie. I went in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair. I ran my fingers through my black tangled hair. No matter how many times I brushed it, it would always remain tangled. I rolled my eyes and walked out the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs. I kissed my moms cheek as she sat down and ate breakfast. She put away the newspaper and watched the news on TV. I mentally rolled my eyes at her and grabbed an apple.
"You don't want any breakfast?" My mom asked, not taking her eyes off of her food. "No thanks. I'll just settle with an apple."
"Rose, this is the 3rd time you've skipped out on a meal! Yesterday's breakfast, last nights dinner, and now this mornings breakfast! What is up with you? Are you trying to lose weight or become anorexic or something?" She spat. I shook my head.
"No ma," I said in a sigh. "I just don't have a very big appetite since I couldn't get any sleep last night. I thought I kept hearing noises, I was just probably tripping though." I finished off my apple and threw away the core.
"Do you want me to drive you?" My mom asked, avoiding the conversation. I shook my head no. "No thanks, I'll walk." I grabbed my book bag and walked out the door. As soon as I turned the corner, I immediately felt like I was being watched. I ignored the feeling and walked down my block and crossed the street. The walk to school was somewhere in between a 5 to 10 minuet walk. I still felt like I was being watched. I turned around but I saw nothing. I looked over into the-never-ending-woods. I saw large shadow in the distance, I squinted my eyes at the black shadow. It appeared to be facing my direction. I started walking towards the figure but it took off running. I shrugged. Maybe it was my wild imagination. I continued walking down the side walk, until I heard footsteps behind me. I stopped & turned around.
Nothing.
Not a soul in sight.
I sighed and continued to walk. I was known to have an imagination that was out of control. My sanity level even started to drop when I was little. When my father died, I started having wild hallucinations that he was still there. I would talk to him. Plus, that was when my mom was depressed. I would've had an older and younger sister but she lost them both. My older sister because of ... now that I think about ... I honestly don't know. I was born prematurely because my mom was under a lot of stress. My father had cancer but he beat it. Two years later, my mom was pregnant -7 months- but my father was fighting cancer again. This time, it had spread all over his body and he was slowly dying. He wanted to last at least for 2 more months just to see his precious baby girl. Sadly, he didn't. My mom was depressed and had lost the baby. Since I was 2 at the time, I had no idea what was happening. I just knew that I lost my dad and little sister. I didn't know when they were coming home. I then soon realized, they weren't coming. I had to go to them.
Once I snapped back to reality, I realized I was at school and I had been crying. I wiped my tears and walked straight in. Oh boy, this was going to be a long day ...

After school, I ran home. I hated that horrible place! The teachers treated me like crap, the students were bullies, the work there was hard, I hated that place! I cried on the way there. While crying and running, I accidentally ran into someone.
"I'm s-sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I looked up at his face but it was covered by a hoodie. He nodded his head but for second I thought I saw a grin. I shrugged it off and started walking again. "Sorry, again dude." I waved my hand and looked back. He was gone.
I turned all the way around and blinked my eyes. I rubbed them and he was still gone. Okay, I was seriously losing it. I shook my head and continued to walk home.
As I reached my house, I unlocked the door, opened it, and walked in. I closed and locked it behind me. I walked to the kitchen to make me a snack when I saw a note. The note read;
"Hey honey! I wanted to tell you that I won't be home until about 12 or 1 in the morning. I've had to take my co-workers shift since his wife was in labor and he couldn't return to work. Well, our boss told him not to and to cherish the moment. But anyway, I made you dinner, just heat it up.
Love you!
-Mommy"
I sighed and rolled my eyes. When I turned around, there stood a boy. He had black rings around his eyes, HUGE black eyes, a frickin' smile carved into his mouth, and was tall. He had on a white jacket that was covered in blood. His greasy black hair was stuck to his forehead. He grinned evilly at me. I couldn't talk so I just screamed. He rushed over at me and covered my mouth. He whispered in my ear a "Ssshhh."
Tears started to well in my eyes. I then realized that that was the dude I ran into. Possibly the one who I saw at the woods.
"Let's take a walk upstairs, shall we?" He smiled at me. Tears started to stream down my face. His face softened. "Aww, don't cry! The fun has just begun!" He grinned. He kissed my tears away and walked me upstairs, to my room.
"I'll let you go if you promise not to scream." He said. I nodded my head in response. He slowly took his hand from my mouth.
"Hello, Rose." He whispered in my ear. "How ... How do you know my name?" I stuttered in fear. He laughed a horrific laugh. "Because ... I'm a stalking killer. I hide outside your window all the time! You just never see me. Slendy taught me well." He chuckled deeply. I looked at him, terrified. "Who are you?" He shook his head at me. He leaned in closer to my ear.
"I am Jay the Killer. Your worst nightmare, baby girl."
My eyes widen in shock.
I was talking
To Jay the Killer.
Known to show no mercy to his victims.
Known to cut smiles into people's faces.
Caught on video, licking the blood of his victim.
My breathing increased. He leaned in to my ear and licked his lips.
"Now, go to sleep."
