As my eyes fluttered open, I heard a constant beeping noise. I looked around my settings, only to see I was in a hospital. All of a sudden, I just started screaming.

"JAY NO! LEAVE ME ALONEEEE!" I shrieked. A Latino nurse came rushing in. "Rose, calm down. Whoever 'Jay' is, isn't here. Okay, sweetie?" She said with her thick accent as she put her hand on mine. I nodded my head, I knew I wasn't tripping. I just saw him, he was poking at my bandage on my neck.

"How ... How long was I asleep? A couple days?" I asked as she handed me a water. My throat was dry so I drank about 3/4 of it. "No, you were out for 3 weeks straight. We thought you wouldn't wake." She said as she buzzed the doctor. I gasped. Three weeks? I thought I was only asleep for maybe 3 days. But three weeks?

"What happened?" I asked as the doctor walked in. He looked about 25, was light skinned, had chocolate brown eyes, baby curls, could see his muscles through his shirt, nice smile, everything!

"Well, somebody called the police saying that you had gotten cut and was knocked out. It sounded like a woman's voice, she called you her best friend," He paused and raised a brow. "Do you have any idea on who that was? Because she wasn't there when the police arrived. We think that maybe the person took her." I froze. Wait ... My best friend died in 2010 in a drive by. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Her name was Brianna, she died at only 15. Had a full life ahead of her. But that person that tried to kill me, wasn't a girl. It was Jay the Killer. I know it was.

"Well, the person who tried to kill me wasn't a girl. It was Jay the Killer."

"But the person who called was a female."

"Maybe it was, but I didn't see 'the female' at all. I heard someone on the phone but that was it. It was a female voice but I never saw who it was." I argued. The doctor put his hands up. "No need to be upset!" He said and shook his head. "I'm just trying to help the police. But are you sure it was Jay? All of his victims usually pass away. None usually make it to the hospital." That's what scared me. Why didn't he finish me off? He just looked into my eyes and cut my leg and neck. Then, 2 police officers walked in.

"Hello Ms Anthony, I'm officer Kirby and this is my partner, Wright. We wanted to ask you some questions, in PRIVATE." Officer Kirby looked at the Latino nurse and doctor. He gave them a 'Get-out-before-I-arrest-you' face. They scurried out and officer Wright cleared his throat after sitting down in a near by chair.

"So, do you have any memory of the person who tried to kill you?" Officer Kirby asked. "Yes, it was Jay the killer. He told me before he cut my leg." Wright wrote things down as I talked. Kirby looked up at me with a raised brow. "Now sweetie, are you sure?"

"One hundred percent." I said in a bland tone. He nodded his head. "I guess we're done here. Most people don't remember the person so one question leads to another but since you're 100 percent sure, I guess we're done." He got up but before he left out, he looked back at me and nodded.

"Have a good day, ma'am. We'll try our best to catch him." I nodded my head. Yeah right, catching Jay the Killer! They've been trying to get Jay since he was 13. That's when he went crazy. Killed his family, burned himself (that's why he has no eyelids), and carved a smile in his face. His soft brown hair is now a singed black. I looked up a picture of him before he went crazy. He was actually cute, to be honest. Now? A monster. A freak. An insane creep. Giving nightmares to children and adults. I shook away the thought as the doctor walked back in.

"You can go home today, but be careful. You don't want your stitches to come out." He winked. I slowly made my way out of the bed with the help of the Latino nurse. I nodded my head, thanking her as the doctor stood there and watched.
