Weaknesses

Castiel and Dean sat by Haley's bed, Castiel because he would be able to help the most if she woke up and needed something, and Dean because he just wanted a way out of research. Kat and Sam were at a table, hunched over books and Kat grumbled about how Dean could help them and not just stare at a basically dead body. Dean argued that dead bodies are a lot more useless, and that they couldn't help them like Haley could.

A few weeks and hotel changes later, the same thing was happening and Castiel was about to speak when Haley interrupted him by sitting up quickly while screaming loudly. Dean jumped, hands flying up to cover his ears, and once again, Castiel sat unaffected by the loud noise.

"Are you alright?" He asked simply, and Haley stopped screaming, huffing and puffing, trying to catch her breath. She had obviously had a nightmare. She nodded slightly in response. She tried to get off the bed to find her arms and legs were chained to the bed, and she oddly couldn't get out.

"Why did you chain me?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing in confusion as to why she was restrained.

"Well, we can't just trust you." Dean replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world, "We don't know what you're capable of, but we do know that you can't break copper, or get out of it, and we need you, so here we are."

Haley growled lowly, "Do I seem like a threat? I could have let her eat you and then killed her, not saved you! And why do you need me? I should be of no use now, I've defeated my mo- uck, I've defeated her so I no longer need to protect you. I need to go hunt my sister and aunt. Sitting here is not hunting. They are feeding and growing stronger as we speak, while I'm sitting here, not even getting a little stronger."

"We'll let you train, don't worry." Sam said, not even looking up from his book.

"You do seem like a threat!" Dean exclaimed, "You injured Cas when you first met him! And like Sam said, we'll probably let you train later! I just want to see something, though..." He grabbed a chain from a piece of jewelery, gently placing it on her cheek, causing her skin to smoke and immediately turn red, and she whimpered. He took it off her cheek, "Sam, you were right. Silver does hurt her."

Haley glared harshly at him as he conversed with his brother, and stopped breathing when they started to talk about sulfur, "Please... Don't..." She mumbled, "Sulfur hurts me... And Silver... Please don't hurt me... I'm still hurting from when I fought..."

Dean looked at her, then back at Sam, "Wouldn't hurt us to confirm that; eh, Sam?"

"Don't do it, Dean. She's obviously still in pain you can wait." Sam looked sort of cross, eyes widening when Haley yelped when Kat sprinkled a bit of sulfur on Haley's other cheek, which also turned red and smoked. Castiel quickly brushed it off,

"Just checking.." Kat shrugged.

"It was not necessary." Castiel finally spoke up, looking stern.
