After traveling for many days, only stopping for gas, restroom breaks, and food on the way, they finally arrived at another motel by the coast in Oregon, done with the long journey all the way from Massachusetts. Haley stepped out of the car, feeling the cold air on her face, though she didn't seem affected, her cheeks turned pink, as well as her nose after a few minutes. The same happened with everyone else except for Kat, and if Castiel hadn't had a vessel, neither would he.

Dean and Sam grabbed their belongings, as well as Kat, and put on their jackets after. Haley trailed behind as they walked towards the building, seeing beautifully colored trees, some pink, others orange, some yellow, etcetera. She hadn't realized how far behind she was when she couldn't hear their footsteps well anymore, and only soft ones from behind her. She whipped around, seeing nothing.

"What?" She looked around, before looking up, then down, "Hinata!" She scooped up a small black cat with white paws, and turned to face the motel, running back to the four. She smiled and the kitten rubbed her face against Haleys, making her giggle. Dean glanced at her,

"Where'd you get a cat?" He asked, and Kat's head immediately snapped to face Haley. Dean wouldn't allow any animals in the car, so Kat had to leave the one Haley found at the motel.

"A kitten!! So cuuuutttteeeeee!" She went to touch it, and Haley backed away, turning her body a little away from Kat, holding the kitten close to her chest as she stared harshly at Kat,

"Hinata is mine. Do not touch her." Hinata meowed, and looked up at Haley and she looked down. After a moment shook her head, "No, they're not one of... My kind."

"Stop talking and hurry up and either hide the damn thing or stay outside. Your choice, but choose because they won't let animals in." Dean rolled his eyes, pushing open the door and walking in. Sam followed, Castiel and Kat remaining outside with Haley and Hinata.

"So..." Castiel trailed off, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, "A cat?"

"On earth, yes. In purgatory, no. She seems to have changed shape in this world other wise she would wreak havoc. It's difficult to explain, but her body would not work with Earth. It's... Impossible." Haley explained.

"....." Everybody was silent, glancing inside before Kat decided to speak up.

"I never saw you in Purgatory, Haley. Do you know why that is..?"

"No. Have you ever seen bodies though...? Perhaps tons of vampires, randomly strewn across trees in one area?" Haley responded, eyes darkening at the memory.

"Of course! I saw it everywhere. Nobody had come up for a name for it, but everybody knew about it... Was that you?" Kat's eyebrows furrowed.

She nodded, "My whole family... But I didn't want to, I swear! It was awful... "

"Did your family also take random bones, such as skulls?"

"Yes, they did.."

Castiel watched as the two talked about Purgatory, and they stopped talking when Sam and Dean walked out, "Alright, let's go." Dean grunted, heading towards the room everyone else following.
