LONG AGO, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...
The doors of the Upsilon-class command shuttle open to a scene of madness. The sound of gunshots and screams can be heard from light years away. Through my black mask, I can see storm troopers marching towards the civilians who are overrunning with fear. The familiar zings of blaster fire and the hisses of the shot leaving the gun rang in the air. I step down the metal ramp, onto the singed grass. It disintegrates under my heavy black boots. "Sir, BI-223 is being attacked!" One of the commander says, the thick pad of red distinguishing his shoulder not the only stain of scarlet on his body. I look to my left to see someone wearing a brown cloak shooting storm trooper with a gun. BI-223 collapses on the ground. "They will regret that," I think to myself. I lift my arm and lift the cloaked person into the air. Their thick cloak falls and their face is revealed. A woman with light brown hair and crystal blue eyes appears from under the cloak. "Athena?" I say. "How do you know my name!?" She screams. I release her, and she falls on to the blackened grass. I slide my mask from my face, and her eyes widen in recognition. "Ben?" She says in a shattered tone. I lift her back into the air, choking her. "Yes, my dear. It's been a long time since I last laid eyes on you." I say while tightening my grip. "Ben... lo-look wh-wha-what you've be-become." She says while losing breath. "Isn't it fantastic." I reply. "I lov-loved you!" She screams with her final breath. "And that was your mistake!" I say before letting her fall to the ground, dead. A glint of light shines from her neck. I walk towards her and rip the source of light from her neck. What I find in my hand, I remember all too well. A small diamond star attached to a silver chain sits in my palm. I use the force to break into millions of pieces. I then throw them onto Athena's dead body. My lips curl into an expressionless state. Her last words ring in my ears. Look what you have become.
