(Hey guys Fate here. So this is a story that I am basically revamping from my other book that I took down, so if you had read it and lots of it looks familiar, well there's a reason. That's all!)
I walked on out to the cafeteria. I saw that people where off into groups. And of corse Liza and her snooty group where glaring at me with hatred in their eyes. All 15 of them.
I quickly walked away from where they where sitting and I looked at the sign that held the menu, but all they where serving was some horrible, noodles? I wasn't sure so I just skipped lunch.
I took a seat at an empty table near the door along the side away from Liza's group. I crossed my arms and placed my head down in the center. I let out a sigh.
"Having a nice nap?" Asked a voice next to me. I jerked up and popped my neck. But it was only Arus standing off to the side of me.
"You scared the living day lights out of me!" I exclaimed. He laughed a bit.
"Sorry bout that. I was wondering if I could sit here. No one else 'has any room'." He said making quotation marks in the air.
I laughed a bit. "Yeah sure. I don't like the food here and I forgot my lunch today." I said and sighed. "All I have is this spoon." I reached into my pocket and pulled out the spoon from breakfast.
"Why do you have a spoon?" He asked.
"Oh it's from breakfast this morning. Cereal."
"Gotcha." He glanced around and messed with his food a bit. "So, uhh, I'm not really sure where my next class is. Could you, uhh show me that now?" He asked kinda sheepishly.
"Yeah sure. Whenever your ready." I picked up my stuff and put it in the chair next to me. "Also, what's on your mind?"
"Oh. Is it that obvious?"
"Yep."
"I've got some personal problems to work out yet. And it's stressing me a bit."
"Ahh, alright. Let's get going before people start getting weird." I said quickly.
"How weird can it be?"
"Well... Let's just say that once someone got hurt and it may or may not have been because of me. Kinda."
He glanced around and noticed Liza staring at us. "Oh was it her?" He asked pointing over to her as we walked out of the cafeteria.
"Uhh not exactly? It was one of her friends and she had hated me way before all that crap happened. But she just stuck her pretty little nose into the fight and WABAM!!" I made and explosion noise, "She ended up in the hospital for a bit but uhh, I regret nothing." He laughed and almost ran into the wall.
"Huh. You totally don't come off as one of the fighter types."
"Naah! I don't know what your talking about!" I said back.
We walked down the hallways and took the one off to the left. I lead him down some flights of stairs and came to stop at the end of the corridor. There where some machines for water and a bathroom to our right.
"Jay. This isn't the way to class."
"I know. But I'm only showing you this once so you better pay attention." I dropped my stuff in the corner and walked over to the vending machine. I grabbed the back corner or it and pulled it out a bit to reveal a door. I opened it and grabbed my stuff. "Well? You coming or not?" I said back to Arus.
His mouth was open a bit but he closed it and followed me inside. I pulled the machine back into place and closed the smaller door. "What is this place?" He asked quietly.
I'm not really sure but all I know is that it's the fastest way to get from class to class. Pretty sure who ever built the school had a great imagination."
"So tunnels?"
"Basically. And never tell anyone else about this okay?" I said as I turned around to face him with a serious look on my face.
He backed up a bit but nodded and we continued to walk down the tunnel.
Soon enough we came to another door and a small peep hole. I peered through it and quickly opened it up. We where in a janitor closet. I opted the door and we stepped out. No body was in the hallway but us.
Our class was right in front of us just a couple doors down. "We're 3 minutes early. Come on." I said as I made my way down the hall.
Suddenly an alarm blared throughout the school and the intercom came on. "All students report to class immediately, this is not a drill."
I glanced at Arus and we dashed for the class room. A couple seconds later all of the class filed in. The teacher told us to get up against a corner of the room.
Once we where all in place I knew what was going on. I turned to Arus who was next to me. He looked calm and normal unlike everyone else.
I looked him dead in the eyes, "A tornado is coming."
