Charlie: "hi I'm charlie.yeah I just moved here last week. I came from a small town in Utah called creepcreepville." Wow. they don't have girls that pretty in utah.
Riley: "that's cool. ive never left new York so it's hard to imagine any place but here." I told charlie. "Well I have to go to class.bye."
I entered my dad's class room and sat down. When I was headed to my seat I noticed another new kid sitting behind maya.i will talk to him after class bc dad started talking about Belgium 1831.finally. we have been trying to do this lesson for 2 months now but whenever dad starts talking about it someone always asks a question that had nothing to do with belgium.
Farkle: cmon Matthews keep talkin!!!! Belgium belgium belgium!!!Cmon cmon cmon!!!!wait.look at that new person sitting next to me, and look at how he's looking at riley.
Lucas: i wonder if she will ever talk to me. I heard around her name is Riley. It suits her. she looks like a Riley and she couldn't be a more beautiful brunette.
Suddenly the bell rang and the stampede of feet ran out the classroom. Suddenly the pretty girl started walking torward me.
Riley: history just got out.where is he? There he is. I was walking torward him and said, "hi I'm riley and I'm on the welcome committee. im here just to welcome you and make sure you are comfortable. What's your name?" I said."Hi. lucas. i just came from Austin texas." He replied. I told him "ok." Well I have to go to english now but I will check back on you later to see how you're doing.ok?" I said a as I started walking away.
"Wait. Who do you have for english?"
"Harper." I said
"Well I found all my classes earlier, so let me walk you there."
"You're the newbie.im supposed to be walking YOU there."
"You walk me there, I walk you there it's all the same."
I chuckled. When we were on out way there I told him, "instead of me just showing you around, do you think we could carry this into a friendship?" WHY DID I JUST SAY THAT?!?!instead thought to myself. HE'S GONNA THINK I'M NUTS!!!!
"I'd like that." Lucas said with a smile.
Narrater: Riley didn't know it then but soon that smile would be reserved for riley matthews, and riley Matthews only.
