Looking down at the ground, she ran away from her mistakes.
Into the shadows a place where no one can see her and her failure.
Thought she had lost everything, nothing left to be corrected.
Mistook her failure to be the end

Was sure that her failure was what defined her now.
But each time she ran away from people she was making it more difficult for her.
Difficult to accept what is true.

She became cold,
Built unbreakable, high walls around,
She put on a mask, not to pretend to be someone,
But to hide who she was truly,
Now what the world called her was heartless.
