"Hello Luna darling!"

"Hello Mum"

That is the most my mother said to me in a week. I got lucky because she had been drinking this night. She notices me when she's under the influence. It is the only time I am able to hear that sing-song melodic voice I cherish so much.

I ascended the marble staircase that has been the source of many tumbles down for eighteen years. Today was no different, halfway up I slipped and slid down four steps. Absolutely fantastic. There go three more bruises to deal with tomorrow.

I shrugged it off and shuffled myself to my bedroom. Often I pause before opening the door. I have to prepare to end my day; evaluate what I have done. What did I do right today? I ate well balanced meals, went for a run, did my schoolwork. What did I do wrong? I argued with my best friend today, I didn't say sorry first, I talked to a stranger. What will I do now? Sleep? Read? Cry?

I pushed the heavy wooden door open.

"Hello Luna."

He had followed me home. He was sitting on my bed. Was he serious? Who did this vampire-angel-man think he was? How old was he anyway? Thirty physically, 6473926 really? No way.

"I'm going to give you one chance to explain before I go hunt for a wooden stake."

"Well, this is the second time we have seen each other, would that make this our second romantic encounter? According to you, this is now the time you will let me in that mind of yours."

I moved over to the bed slowly. You can never be to sure of monsters, they could turn at any moment. For some reason I wanted to touch him, I felt under a trance almost. I couldn't control my body, it wanted to be against him.

C'mon Luna, your stronger than this.

"Wait, what do you want from me?" My own voice sounded that of a stranger.

"You were born for me Luna, I made sure of it. You were born to be mine, why don't you come sit beside me."

I nodded against my will and my body seemed to glide across the floor was I made my way closer to the bed.

"I will make you fall in love with me, the way you were born to."
