Is the only thing that came out of my mouth, he was standing there smiling even bigger
"The one and only baby how you been?"
"Good, busy but I've been good. What about you?"

I smiled
"So you just gone have me stand out here or you gone let me go in and see my cousin?"
"Oh my bad, I thought you came for me" he said acting hurt
I laughed walking past him, he smacked my ass and chuckled coming in behind me. I saw Nique standing in the kitchen with a baby and went over to her
"Hey, long time no see"
"Girl you scared me but I know, how you doing?"
"Good who's baby?"
"Umm mine?"
I just looked at the baby then her and stared at Alex when she walked into the kitchen, Nique laughed and rubbed my back
"Don't stress yourself trying to figure it out, it's a long story"
I nodded as Alex walked over smiling, I snapped out of my thoughts
"What's good cuz glad you could make it"
"Hey, why wouldn't I? I live right down the street"
Laughing "Yea I forgot, but don't be acting all shy. It's just a lil family thing"
"I'm not acting shy, but I didn't know Nique had a baby" I said raising my eyebrow
Shaking her head "Yea she has 3"
I gasped "3?!"
LOL "Just chill, she has twins and an "adopted" daughter, baby girl is Darrien's."
My heart dropped when she said that, I didn't know Darrien had a baby, I guess Alex noticed my sudden mood change
"Aww you still like him don' t you?''
"What? Oh n-no I-I don't know what you're talking about"
"Mhmm you ain slick, I know you and you lying"
"Whatever"
I shook my head and walked off going to find Nique, I heard Alex laughing behind me I wasn't paying her any mind. Walking around their house I was in awe, It was huge for just the 5 of them. I heard a baby crying and followed the cry, that's where I found Nique changing a baby's diaper I knocked on the door. She looked up and waved me in, I smiled and closed the door.
"Hey baby what's up?"
"Nothing just admiring your house, It's huge for just the 5 of y'all"
"6 of us"
I looked at her confused "Six?"
She nodded "Darrien's staying with us for a little while"
"Ahh Darrien."
